Do you remember the first time you saw yourself on screen?

Benj Binks: I was working for a friend, shooting a documentary about two young girls in Dandora, a suburb of Nairobi, Kenya, who are off to the Children’s Climate Conference in Sweden.

I was filming the surrounding neighborhoods and a group of kids saw me and danced all the way up the street to my camera. Once they’d finished their little routine, I showed them the video. It was cool to see the kids so excited to see themselves! They were giggling and jostling and laughing. Gotta love your job when that’s happening.
