Pay Freelancers Faster Than Ever With Our New Advances Technology!

While we work with different brands, agencies and publishers across the spectrum, a common need among all of them is a need for a quick, hassle-free way to pay freelancers. We’re excited to say that we’ve updated our payments dashboard to further satisfy this need. Many clients have been providing us with great, constructive feedback, asking for the capability of sending advances and expedited payments. After weeks of hard work, our product team has developed a new workflow that gives you the opportunity to do so.

Send Advances

Now there’s a way for you to advance payments to freelancers to help them fund the production of the project while it’s ongoing. It also allows you to pay for projects in installments as opposed to in one lump sum at the end. This will give you full control over the production process, being able to pay the freelancer as tasks are completed and project milestones are met.

Expedited Payouts to Freelancers

Everyone makes mistakes from time to time. Now, if you’re ever late to making a payment to a freelancer, we’ve got you covered. You’ll be able to expedite payments to the freelancers that you’re working with at the click of a button, so that they’ll be paid within three to five business days. Expediting payments can help you establish positive working relationships with freelancers, strengthening the Storyhunter community.

In this update to our freelancer management system, we’ve also improved the functionality of the project screen. Easy to read update messages clearly show the status of the project at the top of the web page. Any possible actions you can take will be at the right of the message. Simply click on the circle with three dots (‘…”) to see what you can do.

Using the new Activity tab, you’ll be able to see your project activity,messages, and communications with the freelancer. Actions taken by you or the freelancer, like sending and accepting offers, will be in the middle of the feed, while messages by either of you will be justified on opposite sides of the feed next to your icon.

Additionally, you’ll be able efficiently to send and receive project assets in the new Files tab. Use this page to transfer legal documents, treatments, release forms and other files on the fly like never before.

Under the Payment tab, you can now easily view all project payments and their status. As mentioned before, you’ll now be able to send advances and expedited payments. The new, easy-to-read dashboard clearly displays all payment details such as the date it will be sent by.
