Mark Aldenderfer (Distinguished Professor, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Chair at UC Merced) and Dr. Christina Warinner (Max Planck Institute and the University of Oklahoma) discus their work studying the genetic adaptations of people living atop the Himalaya. Reported, shot and edited. US forced dropped at least 26 million bombs - mostly cluster submunitions - on Cambodia in an offshoot of the Vietnam War. Millions didn't explode on impact and remain in the ground as deadly unexploded ordnance. For the ethnic Jarai people of eastern Cambodia, those bombs make farming a life-threatening occupation. Trailer for the feature-length documentary Eternal Harvest, which is currently in post-production for release in late 2018 Music video for Arlo McKinley. I produced, directed, shot, and edited this piece - as well as came up with the concept and execution. Families can get through tough times and come out stronger. Sesame Street in Communities brings free video content of everyone's favorite, furry Muppet. I co-directed, shot, and edited this Daytime Emmy winning film. Music video for the legend John Prine. I co-directed, shot, and edited "Summer's End" On the tenth anniversary of Hurricane Mitch, an indigenous village in Nicaragua is back... stronger than before. A chronicle of the rise and continuous advancement of the Native American Rights Fund, an advocacy organization that has perhaps done more for Indian Country than any other group. As vintage film cameras and lenses have seen a resurgence in recent years, the number of professionals who can repair and restore these gems is rapidly declining. Youxin Ye and his wife Wen are two of the last of these masters. They breathe new life into decades-old cameras and lenses and elevate the work from a science to an art. For over 125 years Carhartt has been a champion for workers. As so many apparel brands look to move their manufacturing for the sake of their margins, Carhartt has remained committed to its own workers and the communities it has impacted while protecting the value of its product for the benefit of its customers. There is no greater example of this than the people of Irvine Kentucky, which Carhartt has been a primary employer for generations.

About Jerry R.
I am a professional visual journalist, have been for more than 20 years. I began my career as a staff photographer at newspapers in the American West, at a time when papers still had darkrooms and photographers still processed their own film. In 1998, my wife, author Karen Coates, and I moved to Cambodia. There, I shot news, features and investigative stories for Agence France-Presse, The New York Times, The Cambodia Daily and dozens of magazines. We have since combined our talents on numerous projects examining under-reported stories across Asia and beyond, with particular focus on environment, health and social issues. For the past eight years, we have documented the widespread effects of unexploded ordnance (UXO) in Laos. Our book, Eternal Harvest: The Legacy of American Bombs in Laos, was published by ThingsAsian Press in 2013. Recently I added HD video work to my high-quality still image repertoire. I am a Senior Fellow at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis University and was a 2012-2013 Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at the Center for Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

About Curren S.
I'm an Oscar-nominated and two-time Emmy-winning filmmaker and photographer based on the East Coast, USA. I'm the DP and producer of Academy-Award nominated film and Netflix Original "Heroin(e)" and the Netflix Original Documentary "Recovery Boys." As a journalist, I've directed and published short films on The NY Times, The Bitter Southerner, Center for Investigative Reporting, and Mashable, among others. As a commercial director and DP, I've shot films for Marriott, Renaissance Hotels, Facebook, and more. For both documentary and commercial work, I fully produce, direct, shoot, and edit my own films. I also get hired as a DP/shooter and director. I'm also an FAA certified drone pilot with more than six years of experience. For documentary work, I often use a Canon C300III, Panasonic S1H, DJI Mavic 2 Pro, gimbals, glidetracks, and have a large selection of high-quality prime and zoom lenses. For commercial work, I use the Red Komodo and (soon) the Red V-Raptor 8k VV camera. Note: I used to spell my name KERRIN, but now it is CURREN.

About Lindsay B.
I am a print journalist and aspiring photojournalist based in Boston, with training in radio and video production. I hold Bachelor's degrees in English and Biology from Davidson College and a Master's degree in Science Writing from MIT. I have written stories for New Scientist, Harvard Magazine, MIT Tech Review, EMBLetc, and other online and print publications, and have performed at Storycollider in Boston. I love telling stories about a wide variety of topics, especially anything that involves traveling (I have traveled to every continent except Antarctica, but that's on my list)! My dream assignment would take me to Cuba to get an insider's look at what that country and culture have been like under US sanctions for the last 50 years, so that I can document that way of life before it changes drastically following changing political mandates. I'm looking forward to helping you tell your story!

About Ernie Z.
Activist, storyteller, and public servant. With 15 years of experience in professional film and video work, I've dedicated my career to understanding narrative fiction as truth, non-fiction film as cinematic fact, and journalism as a blend of the two. The tools of making this content change all the time and I look at keeping up with these progressions as a pre-requisite while keeping the story at the center. I've worked as a producer for live events, field work, documentaries, narrative projects as well as spend time in the editing room, behind the camera, and in the classroom as a art & storytelling educator. I'm always looking for new challenges whether it means being a one person crew or managing a large number of professionals.
