Jialu is a Chinese media professional based in the Netherlands. At the age of 21 her documentary ‘Alive’ won the Best Documentary Awards in 7th Beijing International Collegiate Video & Film Festival and was screened in 29th VGIK in Russia and 23rd FIPA in France in 2009. From 2010 until 2014, she worked as the production manager for CCTV6 China Movie Channel, in charge of ‘World Film Report’ a weekly program & daily news production, featuring the diversity of the international cinema through on-site shooting and live coverage. Jialu filmed over 70 episodes of TV programs in 40 different countries, including the live report from the Oscar's red carpet, Cannes, Venice and Berlinale film festivals. Since 2014, she worked as a freelancer for multiple media and film companies including Caixin, Phoenix TV, Cinephilia, Media Aisa Film, Merken Bezielen, Weda and Rwanda film festival. In 1988 Gilles Frenken graduated at the National Film Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as a cameraman (D.o.P.), documentary film director and film editor. In the past 30 years he made, as a director with his camera on his shoulder or tripod, about 150 tv documentaries and films. Some of these films were broadcasted in more than 50 countries. As a cameraman Gilles Frenken worked for various film directors, and made more than 100 documentary films in more than 100 different countries. Some of these films won first prizes on various film festivals. As a director and D.o.P., he also made a movie, 'Little Treasures of Lombok'. This film about streetchildren in Indonesia, filmed without a budget, has been seen by more than 4.7 million people on YouTube. My start in the audio-visual/media industry began with completion of Sound Engineering studies at the SAE in Amsterdam, while still working as an accountant for a large international corporation. After completion of my studies I began working as a freelance sound technician and eventually was able to take on lighting technician projects. Then my interest in moving images took me to The International Film School, San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba were studied Digital postproduction for film, after which I began to take on more camera operator and video editing work. My video editing work eventually led to me working as video editor on a permanent basis for an international media agency. From my initial position as editor I moved up to chief editor, responsible for mentoring and overseeing work of editing departments in Amsterdam, Kenya and Ghana, and eventually attaining the position of Executive Producer.

Daniël Nogueira is a director based in Amsterdam. He has several years of experience in directing commercials for the international market and is now concentrating more on long format and storytelling. Daniël began his career as an in-house director for 180 in Amsterdam. His work has been numerously awarded, winning the Promax gold for best film promo, a silver Epica award, Webby award, HAFF best music video and receiving nominations from ADCN, the Dutch Art Director’s Association. Some of the clients he has worked for are Amstel, ABN, MTV, Adidas, Guess, Sony, Strongbow and Hunkemöller. A post-graduate of the University of Dundee, his thesis film "Solitair" received a best student film award at the 1997 Dutch Film Festival and was screened at numerous National and International festivals. Stuart Acker Holt is a British born director, editor and photographer and the founder of CRUMB.FILM based in Amsterdam. After studying Music at University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Stuart went on to lecture in Film Music at Chichester University. During this time he created the ‘Expressing Computers’ lecture series with film-makers and composers presenting live audio-visual work. This opened the doors to inspiring partnerships and creative collaborations in photography and film. In 2008 Stuart released Most Interesting Person; a ‘self generative’ story where each subject nominated the next in an ongoing trail of connected interviews. The project took him around the world creating over 200 episodes of the world’s ‘most interesting’ people. This premiered at The Balhaus Ost, Berlin attracting 1,000 visitors over 24 hours. This format was later adapted for commercial commissions by Philips, the Van Gogh Museum, Ableton and ID&T. Other story-telling formats created by Stuart include the ‘I HEART….’ series. I HEART USA documented the 2016 US presidential election, which was screened at the Bicycle Film Festival in NYC and The House of St. Barnabas in Soho, London. The story of Stuart’s father’s escape from NAZI occupied Vienna in I HEART EUROPE. As a second generation survivor, Stuart’s interest in history features regularly and motivated him to write his first book, ‘The Short 6ft Tall Man’. In 2020 he will be releasing his new film For The Record, which has been selected for the Crystal Palace International Film Festival in London, as well as festivals in Berlin and The Hague.
