Maarten van Rouveroy is a documentary filmmaker. Having graduated in cinematography and marine biology, his main interests are the natural world, the environment, human rights and other global political issues. Through his company NOCTILUCA, Maarten has created a range of documentary and corporate productions, handling the entire process from script, shoot, edit and distribution. NOCTILUCA documentary productions have been picked up by broadcasters and film festivals around the world. Maarten also regularly shoots and produces commissioned projects for clients such as Business Insider, Bloomberg, CNN, Al Jazeera English, Greenpeace, World Wildlife Fund, IUCN, Medecins Sans Frontieres, TBD Media, APTN, GEOMAR and the European Commission.

In 1988 Gilles Frenken graduated at the National Film Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as a cameraman (D.o.P.), documentary film director and film editor. In the past 30 years he made, as a director with his camera on his shoulder or tripod, about 150 tv documentaries and films. Some of these films were broadcasted in more than 50 countries. As a cameraman Gilles Frenken worked for various film directors, and made more than 100 documentary films in more than 100 different countries. Some of these films won first prizes on various film festivals. As a director and D.o.P., he also made a movie, 'Little Treasures of Lombok'. This film about streetchildren in Indonesia, filmed without a budget, has been seen by more than 4.7 million people on YouTube. In the last 5 years he made more than 15 documentary films about art and artists. Gilles Frenken is both based in Amsterdam and Oosterbeek (near Arnhem).
