For master miller Maarten Dolman, work is always a grind. Dolman is one of the last remaining millers in the Netherlands. He grinds flour for bread baking as well as special mixes for cookies and cakes. Dolman invites us to take a tour of his windmill. Built in 1732, it’s one of the most famous in Holland. For the past 34 years, Wim Kruiswijk has been traversing the coasts of Zandvoort, Netherlands, in search of messages-in-bottles that have washed ashore. So far, he’s collected an unbelievable 1,200 letters, responding to as many as he can. Though it may take Kruiswijk anywhere from days to months to come across his next find, the thrill of the search and the surprise that each bottle holds keeps h File this under “only in Amsterdam”: fishing for BIKES. As one of the world’s most bicycle-friendly cities, there are, in fact, more bikes than humans in the Dutch capital. And with some 60 miles of canals winding through the city, odds are that a missing bike met its fate at the bottom of one. That’s where skipper Jan de Jonge and his crew come in with their giant claw machine … Short documentary after following a detox week in Zeeland, the Netherlands I prepared the interview, constructed the right questions so the main characters would be able to respond as natural as possible, shot 2,5 hours of footage in 4K and edited it back to 2,30 minutes. Camera, editing, audio-design, colour correction...full service video production. Toonkunstkoor Amsterdam needed a promotional video for their Latin concert. Translated and transcribed the raw footage for this documentary from Spanish/French to English. This episode of Unreported World was shot in Cameroon where young footballers are being recruited under false pretences to become professional players at elite clubs in Europe.
