I truly love what I do, being able to tell stories about places and people that are usually not covered in mainstream media in the US. I have been a journalist for more than 10 years, starting out in print, then broadcast, and now as a video journalist based in Trinidad and Tobago. I find that people from different backgrounds care about the same issues but everyone has a different perspective and lend a different voice making it even more important to tell each story. Part of my frustration is to be able to find a place to share these stories so we can all see each other...really see each other and get to know the other side of each story. I truly enjoy what I do and I hope I get a chance to share it with you.

About Keith T.

Keith Terrell is a director, writer and producer whose credits include music videos, commercials, television, film and live broadcast productions. Over the past several years, the Los Angeles native has gained a wealth of experience working alongside some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry as a First Assistant Director. Most notably, he was Ava Duvernay’s A.D. for the groundbreaking Jay Z music video/short film Family Feud. Keith has also run sets for other top-selling artists, including T.I., Tyga and Blake Shelton. As Keith’s reel continues to grow, he’s placed a special focus on creating engaging content that showcases the diversity of minority communities--highlighting strong, positive images that debunk many outdated media stereotypes. His first narrative film, Penny For Your Thought, centers on the harsh reality that domestic violence can have on a girl who witnesses her mother’s abusive relationship and tries to intervene. He hopes to bring awareness to the epidemic and encourage those in abusive relationships to get help. It premiered at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood in 2016. His latest project, Raincoat is now streaming on Amazon Prime and deals with the harsh realities of many young black mails in the inner city who are searching for their identity while being courted by many vices and evils. In addition to his professional goals, Keith has a personal goal of helping the next generation of content creators. Knowing that many inner-city kids don’t have exposure to entertainment industry careers, he began teaching film at New Earth, an L.A. High School for troubled teens. He plans to expand his efforts by setting up a continuation program that teaches students how to apply for roles “on set” and build successful careers.

Hi! My name is Nolan Huber-Rhoades. I am an award-winning Director, Cinematographer, and Video Journalist who focuses on stories of resistance and liberation movements—particularly in the US South. I am a Ph.D. Candidate who has spent the last 5 years studying Narrative Paradigm Theory and asking questions about how we can use film, psychology, and social science to disrupt oppression and tell paradigm-shifting stories? As a director and cinematographer, I bring a revolutionary perspective to each story by approaching everything through the lenses of antiracism, feminism, queer liberation, and prison abolition. In addition to receiving awards at film festivals, my work has been featured in Rolling Stone, NPR, Flood Magazine, Vinyl Mag, Ghetto Blaster Magazine, and many smaller publications.
