As a Director of Photography, I specialize in corporate, documentary, and commercial productions. I love working with clients to create stunning visuals that bring their ideas to life. I am a composer, performer, producer and recording artist residing in the Washington, DC area, and a part-time product trainer for Casio Music Gear. I've scored documentaries for Voice of America, including "Boko Haram: Journey from Evil", narrated by Award-winning British-Nigerian actor David Oyelowo. "Boko Haram" won first prize at the New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films ceremony at NAB 2018 in the "international documentary" category. Another documentary I scored for VOA, "A Single Step: Journeys of Women Leaders", featuring academy award-winning actress Sally Field, won a finalist certificate in the Biography/Profiles at the 2016 New York Festivals International TV & Film Awards, and the VOA doc "AIDS: Living in the Shadows", featuring Sir Elton John, won the Silver World Medal Award at the #NYFTVFilmAwards in 2015. I have been nominated for "best score/short film" at the Liberty University Cinematic Arts Student Showcase 2017 for Becky M. Barker's World War I drama "We Are the Dead", and for Best Score Short Film at the 2012 Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema for the science fiction drama “The Cosmonaut”, and for best score at the Machinima Festival 2006 in NYC for the EA Gameplay Trailer for “Battlefield 2142". I scored two documentaries featured at the 2013 Justice Conference Film Festival, Suzanne Taylor Glover's "The Road We Know" (from Citygate Films), and the CIY production, "Becoming Sons and Daughters" (I was 1 of 3 composers on this film, which also was the winner of "Best U.S. Documentary" at the 2012 San Diego Christian Film Festival). I've scored the trailer for "The Ville" for Zynga, music packages for VOA’s Persian News Network and Africa News Network, Telly Award-winning shorts for PCM Animation Studios and Citygate Films, and ID tags for the United Football League. Raphaelle commenced piano lessons at the age of 4, prompted by the hearing issues she encountered as a result of multiple early-age infections and surgeries. Throughout her youth the music of composers such as Ennio Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith, and Francois de Roubaix inspired her talent. She graduated from the music conservatory of Lille, France in 2002 and eventually landed a marketing position with Google, which she left in 2015 after a life-changing event at Abbey Road Studios which inspired her to pursue her lifelong passion for music and film scoring. 2021 was a landmark year for Raphaelle in which she scored the Emmy Award-winning Disney+/National Geographic nature docu series Secrets of the Whales, produced by James Cameron and narrated by Sigourney Weaver. Baltimore native Brandon Woody was referred to as an artist on the rise in the region by the Baltimore Sun in 2015 at the age of 17. Since then, Woody has gone on to become an international artist, performing with his band, Upendo, curating projects for major museums, collaborating with international brands and performing at major venues and institutions around the globe. Woody uses music as a tool for healing, genuine connection and celebrating community. Woody started his own band, UPENDO in 2015. Since then, the group has gone on to perform internationally with regular concerts across the east coast. Notable performances from the band include their 2019 performance at the Harlem Stage, 2021 performance at the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore’s 2022 Vegan SoulFest, the 2022 closing of Baltimore’s Lexington Market, and their 2022 residency at the University of Maryland. Upendo’s concert experiences are comprised of original music composed by Woody and fellow Upendo collaborator, Troy Long. Woody also had the opportunity of casting musicians and acting as a band leader in an upcoming Apple TV series, Lady in the Lake to be released in the fall of 2023. In 2021, Woody was named a Bach/Conn endorsed Artist and was named the Best musician to watch by the Baltimore Magazine in 2022. Matvey Kulakov is an award-winning editor, composer and sound designer. Our New President, Matvey’s first feature as editor, premiered at Sundance 2018 where it won a Special Jury Award for Editing. The short version of the film was released by Field of Vision in 2017 and was a Vimeo Staff Pick. Working as sound designer and composer, Matvey collaborated with the art collective Pussy Riot on multiple live performances and installations. As a member of Third Party Films, a NY-based film production company, Matvey has worked on several feature documentaries including The Truth About Killer Robots (2018 - HBOMax/ TIFF premiere) about the perils of automation, The Conspiracy (2022) (DTLA Film Festival 2023 - best editing), an animated feature about the history of conspiracy theories and antisemitism starring Liev Schreiber, Jason Alexander and Lake Bell, and How to Rob Banks For Dummies (post-production - 2024) about the performance artist Joe Gibbons. The Lakota Daughters (2020), a 30 min short that Matvey edited, has played dozens of festivals and received numerous awards. Most recently, Matvey edited and animated The Town That Shot the Sheriff, a film about a successful rebellion led by a group of upstate New Yorkers against the building of a natural gas pipeline on their land. In addition, Matvey has edited numerous teasers and sizzle reels. Matvey is known for his dynamic editing, layered sound work, and a strong narrative sense.

Hannah Price is a graduate student at the New England Conservatory, studying under the mentorship of Ayano Ninomiya. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin Conservatory, after having begun her studies at Indiana University under the instruction of Sibbi Bernhardsson. In past summers she has participated in the Aspen Music Festival and School, Bowdoin International Music Festival, National Orchestral Institute, and Litomysl International String Masterclass, among others. Hannah has performed as an orchestral musician in venues including Carnegie Hall, Severance Hall, and the Meyerson Symphony Center. An active advocate for community engagement, Hannah has been involved in the development of the Musical Storytelling Project at Oberlin and as a participant in programs that bring music and instruction to Grafton Correctional Institution and hurricane-stricken areas of Puerto Rico.
