Caitlin Faw is a multimedia journalist currently based in Baltimore, Maryland. Her photo work has appeared in The Guardian, The Huffington Post, The Baltimore Sun, the Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times, among other publications. She has exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Anacostia Arts Center in Washington, D.C., as well as the Brooklyn Fire Proof in New York City, and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Israel. Her short documentary film, "Inseparable," was featured at the Maryland International Film Festival. Caitlin received a Master of Arts in New Media Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art + Design (now the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at George Washington University) in 2014. She has interned with The Washington Post, NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune, and The Baltimore Sun.

About Timothy W.

Timothy Wolfer is a journalist and filmmaker. For over a decade he has been working on stories of humanitarian aid and migration. His work has taken him to 40+ countries; places like South Sudan to tell stories of the conflict, Bangladesh to cover stories of the Rohingya fleeing Myanmar, Cuba as the country first opened to U.S. humanitarian assistance, and Haiti days after the 2010 earthquake. His latest film The Right Girls follows a group of transgender women headed to the U.S. Border with the 2018 Large Migrant Caravan. This film was distributed on Amazon, iTunes and Google Play. He has also produced numerous, short docs for PBS stations, winning him a regional Emmy. Wolfer was also present on the steps of the U.S. Capitol on January 6th filming as a mob breached the building and the footage, he shot there was featured by the New York Times. His gear includes, FX9, FS7 A7R3, as well as audio and full lighting kit.

I'm a video and photojournalist based in Washington, DC. I have worked as a freelancer for many agencies and publications in Rio and Brazil, having my work published by several Brazilian newspapers and websites, and international media outlets as well. I have worked for organizations such as UN Women, UNFPA, Inter-American Commission in Human Right among others. From 2016 to 2018, I worked at The Intercept Brasil as a Photo Editor and assistant for Glenn Greenwald. I currently work for the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights as a photographer and video producer. I also have a PhD in Communications and Culture.

My name is William Castro and I am based in Washington, DC. I am a freelance videographer and editor with full camera gear (Sony FS7 ii with Canon lens, wireless mic, light kits and Mac laptop editor). I have 11 years of experience, mostly working with national and international tv networks (Aljazeera, Univision and VICE News). Some of my work experience includes covering the Dallas police shootings, the 2017 Mexico City earthquake, Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria, Hurricane Harvey, the Las Vegas shooting, the Sutherland Springs shooting, and investigative stories. I am an operator of ENG and cinematic cameras. I have a lot of experience working with Adobe Premiere. I can perform live shots using Dejero, BGAN, Live-u, fiber and truck transmissions/operations. I can feed PKGS and elements using FTP and Media Shuttle, Aspera and more. I am a bilingual Spanish-speaker and I am comfortable with deployments around the US and other countries. I am very friendly and easy to work with in any environment and under pressure.

Born and raised in Wuhan, China, Xinyan started her journalism career in 2012 working as a producer for BBC News in Beijing covering the Asia Pacific region. In 2018, she launched the North America video team for Hong Kong’s flagship newspaper South China Morning Post in New York, and later joined the BBC's Washington DC bureau in 2020 as a senior video journalist. Xinyan's 23-min BBC documentary China’s Science Revolution won the 2015 BBC Storytelling Fund and was Highly Commended for Excellent Online Production at the 2016 AIB Awards. Her 15-min short film for South China Morning Post, Fighting Fentanyl: the Drug from China Destroying American Lives, won the Gold Prize for Best Use of Online Video at the 2019 WAN-IFRA Asian Digital Media Awards. A BBC News video feature she shot, Are America's unvaccinated changing their minds?, won a White House News Photographers Association's Eyes of History Digital Storytelling award in 2022. Now working as an independent filmmaker, she has directed and produced for the BBC, CNBC, PBS NOVA, Newsy and Channel New Asia. Xinyan is a Firelight Media Documentary Lab fellow, a Brown Girls Doc Mafia Sustainable Artist fellow and an alumnus of the Yaddo Residency.

Kiyoka is the Founder/Creative Director of KEX STUDIOS — a full-service production company specializing in film and video, branded content, and design. She has been recognized for her visual storytelling by the Society for Features Journalism, the White House News Photographers Association, the Edward R. Murrow Awards and the National Association of Black Journalists.
