I began my journey in high school when I purchased a Sony FX1 prosumer camera. From there, I gained my Avid Certification and began my professional career. I have shot everything from sports to commercial videos for multi-national clientele. My previous clients include but are not limited to CST, CSS, Tribune Media, Signal Marketing Group, and The Baddish Group. I thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. I like to be where the action is. Nothing is off limits for me when it comes to getting the shot. I believe in showing as much emotion as possible in every frame of video. Eighteen years of experience in television production has given me the opportunity to gain knowledge of many facets of the industry. Producing, shooting and editing are currently my main focuses. I count it a privilege that my job and hobby are the same! I was born in the United States but grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I moved back to the US many years ago but visit Brazil regularly and love it! I have dual citizenship so it makes it easy for travel! I started making films when I was a teenager and shot some film for a TV station when I was in college. When digital video cameras came on the scene in the 1990s, my employer at the time, the Voice of America, began a program to provide video stories online and to affiliate stations around the world. I was the first correspondent to jump on that opportunity, in 1997, and continued shooting video until I retired in June, 2017. In most cases I shot the video and did the interviews for the story, then wrote it, voiced the narration and edited the package. Since then I have been involved in projects of my own and have shot video for a cosmetic commercial and for a YouTube channel host. I have also been involved in some film contests in Houston.
