As a documentary photographer his work has been shown in solo and collective exhibitions, in Portugal and Brazil. Miguel has also played as a professional actor in TV, Theatre and Cinema, in five different languages.

Laboyoung is a young black artist from Icoaraci, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Belém, state of Pará, Brazil, Amazon. Labo develops works,mainly, with elements of nature, collects the vegetation that is born close to rivers and streams to build masks and clothes on his models - which are usually his and his friends. This process started on the island of Mosqueiro, when he returns to playing with children, who have traditional knowledge transmitted by their grandparents.
