Hello, my name is Tasha May and I am an Australian and have been living in Jakarta, Indonesia, since 2009. My husband, Mahatma Putra (Director), and I have a small production house, Anatman Pictures, which specializes in documentary film making throughout Indonesia as well as branded commercial work. We are grateful to be a part of the Storyhunter community as there are so many stories we would love to share with the world on life here, not only from the good points, but we want to share people's stories in order to help them by giving them a voice to speak up. We want to inspire people, as well as help people, and also want to share our joy of living in this wonderful and diverse country. Though my name is Budi Afriyan, but i'm more known by my nickname, buyung. And i just realized that my nick are really hard to spell in Englihs :D Well..in that case, you can call me Ryan like my family calls me :D :D I'm a media production specialist (from research the topics - in Indonesia - to editing my own b-roll or footage). I'm ready for any assignment in Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua, been work around Aceh to Papua from 2000. My latest project were a documentary as part of research on marine spatial planning in Lesser Sunda (Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara), specifically in Rote Island (the southest island in Indonesia's archipelago).

Journalist and film maker duo based in Indonesia's crazy capital, Jakarta. With our combined talents we have produced both news videos and documentaries for a global market and have worked on notable commercial and non-government projects throughout the region. David Arnold is an award winning film maker who has worked as a director, cameraman and editor throughout the world. Based in Southeast Asia his past clients include Volcom, France 24, Hurley, USAID and I-D Magazine. Rebecca Lake has covered the Indonesian archipelago as a reporter and video journalist for the Jakarta Globe and cable news channel Berita Satu English. As a freelance journalist, based in Asia, Rebecca has been heard on ABC radio, Asia Calling and published by the Inter Press Service and ABC online.

I'm Otto, a freelance producer and cinematographer/photographer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. I've been working with news agencies, production houses and companies both local and international. Able to work with with a team on a tight deadline.

I work to report on international stories through all forms of media with a preference towards video. My work has appeared in The New York Times, New York Observer, City & State, AJ+, New York Magazine, VICE, Our Town Downtown and internationally on Berita Satu English. Graduated from Manhattan College with a major in English Literature and a minor focus in Philosophy and received a Masters in International Reporting from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism in New York City. If needed, I can speak and write fluently in Serbo-Croatian and I have a good understanding of French. I like deadlines.

I am a video journalist with many years of professional experience in picture/multimedia and can provide customers with a wide range of services. In addition to videography and photography for reports, the focal point of my work is on visual multimedia storytelling.

I am an experienced, one-man-band video journalist who's been covering hard/breaking news, features and documentaries around the world for almost a decade. I am currently working for the Agence France-Presse (AFP TV), the BBC, Al Jazeera English and RTL Nieuws in Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asia region.

About Hilman A.

Hilman Arioaji (Rio) is an independent filmmaker who has worked over 7 years in film and video production in both the commercial and non-profit worlds as mainly an videographer and video editor to support his passion in capturing social issues. Together with his coleagues, Rio produce a documentary called "REPDEMEN". It's a story about post tsunami aftermath in Mentawai, Indonesia. They have been struggling for a better situation in the last 6 years, the problems have not been solved yet. While they build a new survival strategy, the next earthquake and tsunami ambush in the dark to devestate their next life.

Gembong Nusantara is a documentary filmmaker and photographer focusing on socioeconomic, human rights and environmental issues. Studied photojournalism at Ateneo de Manila University and Danish School of Media and Journalism. Gembong has covered significant events such as the natural disaster of the Merapi volcano eruption, the Middle East refugees tragedy in Indonesia fleeing to Australia, Jakarta's economy booming and hidden stories like mental health problems in Indonesia, children born with different abilities caused by viruses and malnutrition. His works have been published in Washington Post, Al Jazeera, Society Magazine, Internazionale, Wall Street Journal, Time, New York Times, The Diplomat, Get Lost, and many other international publications. He has been commissioned by international organisations; such as World Animal Protection, USAID, International Republican Institute, International Monetary Fund, IRENA etc.

I'm Kenny Saputra and I have freelance brand named Absolut Nine. The start of my career when I touch my DSLR and fell in love with photography. Next stage I learn about Visual Effects A.K.A VFX from various website. But that's doesn't stop me to learn more and more about production. In 2015, I'm working in Agency Company and learn about video pre-production and post production as a Director, DOP, VFX Artist and Color Grading.
