Ana María is a United States citizen born in Barranquilla, Colombia. Her first job was as a newscast correspondent at Televista and host for the video musical production “La Guía.” Nominated in 2002, upon graduation from Television and Radio Production with a minor in Communications for best final project at Miami Dade College. Worked for Paramount Pictures production film team:"Jackass:The Movie," interned with Emilio Estefan at Crescent Moon Records. Continued her career with MTV Latino © in Miami, started interning for the show “Conexión,” was part of the first Video Music Awards (VMA) Latin America in 2002. Manage the MTV Latino channel in New York, worked at red carpets, press conferences, MTV2 $2 Bill Concert "System of a Down," MTV U Woodie Awards, Hotel MTV in 2005 and VMA´s, along with Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, among others. Ana María studied hosting and acting with Patricia Stark, Marki Costello, Barbara Barna and Tony Pichette at Actors Studios. In 2009 mayored in journalism with a minor in investigation at New York University (NYU), with Stephen Sheppard and Simon Surowicz both producers of "60 minutes." Jim Edwards, deputy editor at Business Insider, Tim Mohr from Playboy Magazine and John Crudele from the New York Post and graduated in 2011. She was on television commercials and educational videos in NYC, her articles and photos have been published on: El Heraldo Sunday magazine, El Especial, Cravings Magazine, The New York Post, El Diario La Prensa, Mi Gente TV magazine, Fotógrafas Latinoamericanas, Documenting Men, Cartel Urbano and Documentary Photo. Worked as a (Spanish-English) interpreter, translator and proof-reader for Russian and Slavic Languages and at Nike+ worldwide launching website and app. Ariza has her own blog called "run away with me," where she writes about her travels, people and places she meets along her way. Moved to Bogotá, Colombia in autumn of 2013, where she was the production coordinator of Colombia´s visual artist Juan Manuel Echavarría´s documentary, “RÉQUIEM NN” and worked as a producer for an Israeli docu/reality, "Couch Diaries" for Artza Productions from Tel Aviv. Worked over two years for Colombia´s National Government at Social Prosperity towards overcoming poverty in rural zones with community’s victims of armed conflict and vulnerable population, as Communications Chief Advisor and project coordinator of four two-minutes capsules and a one-hour long documentary with Discovery Channel. Filmed outside Tumaco, in Vichada, Cocorná, Valle de Sibundoy, Sierra Nevada, Montes de María and Guapi, this project was broadcast on Discovery Latin America and the United States. In the winter of 2017, Ana María attended, Conflict Photography Workshop, led by journalist and photographer Gervasio Sánchez, earned her professional and documentary photography certification at Zona Cinco in Bogotá. She worked on projects for RTVC, public television channel and Netflix, as a Spanish-English simultaneous interpreter. Ana María has interviewed Nicolas Cage, Tracy Morgan, Bill Nighty, Zach Galifianakis, Benjamin Bratt, John Leguizamo, Mike Newell, Scott Steindorff, Giovanna Mezzogiorno, Catalina Sandino, Eddy Herrera, Leonardo Amuedo, Chris Botti, Samuel Torres and Jason Cordero among many others.

LAURA OTÁLORA, (Bogotá, Colombia 1989) is an award-winning visual anthropologist and documentary filmmaker. From an early age she wanted to merge social and cultural studies with the visual arts, so she decided to study Anthropology with an emphasis in Art History and Theory at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota. After finishing her degree she traveled to Spain to do a Masters in Visual Anthropology at the University of Barcelona. Later he decided to expand his knowledge in the audiovisual area, starting another Master's Degree in Documentary Film at the Barcelona Film School (ECIB). Since then she has worked in the realization of other documentaries in areas such as methodological research, script, production, DOP and post-production. For three years he coordinated the production company CAD ProducUons, where he developed several projects for international organizations such as the UN and the World Bank, covering topics such as Climate Change, Sustainable Development and Food Security in several countries in Africa, America, Europe and Asia. Among these projects, he directed the documentary interacUvo Kijanal, about the food sovereignty of the indigenous peoples of Chiapas and Yucatan in Mexico. He also worked on the documentary series REDD+ in Africa, for the World Bank, on climate change mitigation in several African countries. In parallel she parUcipated as co-founder of the Cook n Roots project, dedicated to the invesUgation of the roots of gastronomy, through Visual Anthropology, filming diverse cultural ways of understanding gastronomy, developing a broad knowledge of the gastronomic cultures of several countries. In 2019 she directed her first feature film Chef's Diaries Scotland, a documentary where the Roca brothers from the presUgious restaurant Celler de Can Roca, invesUgate about traditional products and cuisines from Spain and Scotland. It won the award for best documentary at the Girona International Film FesUval and was selected for various festivals such as the Malaga FesUval, Sea`le InternaUonal Film FesUval and the Edinburgh InternaUonal Film FesUval among many others. It is also available on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Filmin and Mubi. Since 2019 she returned to Bogota where she works in directing and directing series and documentaries around Colombia. In 2021 the series Dis;l Your World premiered on Amazon Prime Video, in which he did the script and direction of two chapters, this same year he also directed the documentary series Vivas, which will premiere in 2022 on several Colombian TV channels. She is currently directing two feature documentaries: Impermanentes and Capitán. She is also the content director of the workshop Apichatpong Weerasethakul Lab: Filming in the Amazon and is a professor of Documentary Film at the National Film School (ENACC).

I was born in Bogotá, Colombia but grew up in several cities across the country. My first works in video were done when I was an antropology student at the Universidad de Antioquia. Since that time I have worked in advertising, editorial production, and photography. For the last three years I have been a full time videographer and photographer, working mainly in social videography and documentary production. Currently I´m developing several projects, like El Azote DC, which is a take on the bogotan bicycle culture, focusing on stories of creativity and resistance, and a full length documentary film called Somos Fruto, a dissertation on the life and struggles of the "anadariegos", a nomadic group of people that travel across the country working as coffee pickers, miners and street vendors.

I'm an American based in Bogotá, Colombia, with experience working in English, Spanish and French. In 2015, following dreams of being a full-time storyteller, I moved to India to co-direct a documentary about an orphanage outside the city of Hyderabad. Most recently, I served as the managing editor at Innovations | Stories, an online publication sharing the stories of social innovators all over the Global South. While at Innovations | Stories I designed and spearheaded a multimedia editorial strategy which allowed for more diverse content (a heavier focus on photo and video stories). As managing editor I supported video and photo freelance contributors from all over the world and designed storytelling trainings for social innovators to tell their own stories. I'm originally from Berkeley, California, USA and I earned my B.S. from the University of California, Davis in Community and Regional Development with a minor in Art Studio (focusing on video and photography). From 2010-2015 I directed a global education program called One World Youth Project (OWYP), based in Washington, DC. At OWYP I designed middle school (age 10-14) curriculum and trained university students to teach it around the world in their own communities. The program taught the children cross-cultural communication by empowering them to create and send video, photo, and written messages to their partner classroom abroad - all facilitated by trained university student volunteers. While serving as program director at OWYP I had the privilege of traveling around the world visiting schools and delivering trainings at universities. My work in education and the opportunity to see so much of the world made me realize I wanted to tell stories. Storytelling is the best form of education anyway.

Juan Carlos Zapata León, born in Cartagena, Colombia in 1984. He studied Film and Photography at the Unitec University Corporation in Bogota. He entered the world of journalism when he joined Publicaciones Semana (a colombian media company) in 2011, obtaining the position of videographer, which he held until 2014. In June of that year, he traveled to France and lived in that country for the next 10 months, venturing as an event photographer for some concerts and plays. When he returns to Bogotá, he begins to work with the correspondents of the Spanish newspaper El País, making videos for the newspaper's website. Thanks to this work, he travels to different regions of Colombia making audiovisual specials, most related to the peace process and the subsequent signing of the end of the armed conflict. In September 2017, he began working with the French television channel France 24 in Spanish, after opening its headquarters for the Ibero-American public in the Colombian capital. He currently works there making audiovisual pieces of various kinds, in addition to developing independent projects for different companies and NGOs. Since March of this year, when the pandemic caused by covid-19 began, he also linked himself with the French news agency AFP, with whom he has worked reporting all kinds of stories during the quarantine.
