Visual storytelling is something I have always had a passion for. I have worked as a visual journalist full time since 2008. Prior to that I spent four years serving in the United States Marine Corps and have travelled all over the U.S. I enjoy human interest stories; especially profile pieces where you learn something about a person you may not have noticed otherwise. I've worked with Sony and Canon camcorders, Nikon and Canon DSLRs, studio and location lighting, audio gear including Sennheiser wireless mic systems. I have experience editing with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. I currently have basic knowledge of After Effects.

We've been doing video production for 10 years focusing on script to screen video services. We emphasize in a medley of services including camera operating, editing, sound design, and motion graphic animation/compositing/VFX. We have shot footage all over the Northwest doing helicopter aerial video, sports broadcast, nature videos, interviews, slow motion, macro, and narrative films. Our background includes national commercial spots, Public Service Announcements, internal company videos, documentaries, animations, and short films. We love to express our creativity through video.

As co-owner and Creative Director at Peppershock Media, Drew has many duties. Drew shoots, edits and makes magic with motion graphics while creating campaign deliverables using his master-class working knowledge of software, equipment, social media and service-oriented personality. As Creative Director, he orchestrates the Peppershock team and assures high quality standards. His talents have contributed to numerous Peppershock awards, including an Emmy, multiple Telly Awards and a First Place Idaho Press Club Award for the Math Matters campaign. Drew’s experience includes work with clients such as Oracle, Mountain Home Air Force Base, Central District Health, The Krazy Coupon Lady, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and the Idaho Department of Education. His fascination with film and music has allowed him to work with many well known talents such as; The Long Winters, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Paul Allen, Dan Aykroyd and Harrison Ford.

John D. LeMay is a documentary filmmaker in Boise known for his insatiable curiosity, love of storytelling, unique visual style and tight editing. Work and clients cover a broad range, from mini-documentaries for arts organizations, such as, Idaho Commission of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, to brand storytelling films for business and non-profits such Givens Pursley LLP, The Gardner Company, Insurance Network America, the Boise Metro Chamber, Sage International School of Boise, the Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League and many more. Raised in the Midwest, John attended Illinois State University as a Music and Theater major, moving to Chicago his senior year for a Theatre internship. His career as an actor was fast tracked after landing a couple of national commercials, precipitating a request to audition for Samuel Goldwyn Jr. and a move to Los Angeles. A 30-year career in Hollywood included landing a series starring role in the award winning anthology, Friday The 13th: The Series. John also began shooting and editing videos for theater companies in Los Angeles, creating “behind the scenes” pieces for their social media sites and award ceremonies. A move to Boise in 2014 sparked the creation of FEAT1STFILMS and a new way for John to channel his creative energies.

Tom is known for his consistent and quality work as a director of photography. He has shot more than 100-episodes of series programs for regional and national television. He has directed and filmed five Emmy Award-winning documentaries, including Idaho the Movie (1 & 2); The Rocky Mountain Fly Highway and Idaho from Above. In 2007, Tom served as Director of Photography on Green is the Color of Money with Academy Award-winning director, Ben Shedd and received an Accolade Award for Best Documentary Photography. His 1999 documentary, Life or Meth was nominated for a Northwest Emmy Award and won a National Press Photography Association award for Outstanding Documentary Photography. Tom recently received an Amazon Video Direct Star Award (September, 2017) for the film, Idaho the Movie, for being one of the top 50 most engaging independent films on Amazon.
