Over the last 18 years, I have worked in almost every field of film, TV and video production and television journalism, and have spent the last nine years managing my own news and media production company. I have an excellent knowledge of the industry, as well as a proven track record of running a company and managing staff, projects and budgets. I’m a Costa Rican investigative journalist with vast experience in cross-border collaborative projects with newsrooms in Latin America and the US. Until recently, I collaborated with the Centro Latinoamericano de Investigación Periodística (CLIP). Before that I worked as Data and Investigations editor for Univision Noticias in Miami. I was a fellow in the 2019 class of the John S.
