Fun video where I directed a lot of couples to be awkward. Viral video that I did the set design, lighting, hosting, editing, graphics. I co-produced this viral video that has 17 million views on YouTube. I cast, directed, co-produced, shot and gave post-production feedback. Shot this piece that was used for HLN's series on Backroads of America. A piece I produced for a non profit, Housed Working & Healthy, to help them raise money and continue their work within the community. A piece I produced for a non profit, Denver City Lax, to help them raise funding at their annual gala. The “LGBTQ New Americans” project is designed to document and share the stories and experiences of LGBTQ immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers living in Brooklyn and New York. Since inception, immigrants have shaped our city and nation. In recent decades, we have seen an increase in immigrants and refugees who identify as LGBTQ, and their unique life stories are being woven into the fabric of our city and country. Given the tension and heated rhetoric surrounding current debates on immigration issues, it is crucial to provide a genuine platform for individuals to tell their stories and help people understand the human beings behind these complex and often abstract policy issues. Trailer for project about fracking on Native land. Native Americans speak about the Earth as our Mother and the impacts of oil and gas drilling on tribal lands in the United States, particularly on The Blackfeet Nation in North Central Montana. Outside entities target territories where unemployment hovers at 70%, promising wealth and prosperity, and offering little in return. The exploitation of people, land, and resources is not new to the Native An episode of Insider's "Regional Eats" series showing how Wisconsin's favorite dessert is produced. I wrote the script and edited the video.

About Alejandro G.
I consider myself a storyteller first and a filmmaker second. I truly believe that pretty pictures without soul and purpose are simply just that, pretty pictures. Every project I take on, whether it's a documentary, corporate vignette, or commercial, I always rely on story to drive every decision made in crafting content that speaks and resonates with audiences on a deeper human level. My work has taken me from the headquarters of fortune 500 companies to impoverish villages in rural Ghana. I've had the opportunity to interview industry leaders, dreamers, artists, innovators, underdogs, victims of abuse, terminally ill patients, and activists. From bigger than life characters to normal everyday working people, we all have a story to share and yet good stories only happen to those who can tell them. I am grateful and blessed to continue my pursuit of happiness and passion to craft good stories that challenge the way we think and speak to the heart to move the mind. Over the years my work has been recognized with numerous awards including 5 Emmys and 1 Telly, and yet I feel I've only just scratched the surface. When I am not behind a camera or computer I enjoy spending quality time with my family hiking a trail, traveling, getting our hands dirty in the veggie garden or playing with our dog and chickens.

I specialize in crafting narrative pieces. I bring a keen insight and dedication to telling a story in the best form. Photography, filmmaking, writing, graphic design, and digital creation give me a wide range of experience to pull from. Being self-taught in the tools and workflows of the trade, I bring a deep understanding and appreciation to all aspects of each project. I thrive in harsh environments, driving and working with small, high skilled, and talented crews. Crafting intimate, and emotional, stories with a unique style and flare. Being a consummate problem solver, I have always gravitated to working on unique and demanding projects. I apply my love for technology, narrative, and adventure to create experiences that have garnered millions of views on social media. I combine a life of adventure with the mediums of photography, filmmaking, writing, and graphics. Working in some of the harshest conditions, I have developed a unique fluency for capturing impossible shots. Known for my acumen in endurance, I am undaunted by long hours, brutal environments, and rugged terrains. The most radical of situations often lead to the most compelling stories. Starting at a young age, with a gift of a camcorder, I created movies with friends. Years later, the tradition continued as I made music videos, short films, and snowboarding/ skiing videos. I have worked for several years professionally, learning and developing a style and technique, and earned projects that have taken me around the world.
