My home location is The Netherlands, from where I can do a wide range of stories around the globe. News, background stories and human interest are the stories which have my preference. I'm available throughout the year. Besides working in (western) Europe, I often work worldwide. Either for companies, NGOs, TV or event, I travel abroad to create content and exposure. Prior clients include Discovery Channel, Oxfam, Lonely Planet and more. On a lot of these international trips, I can combine productions, making it more affordable to produce. Macarena Gagliardi is a highly experienced TV and documentary producer based in Buenos Aires. She also is a multifaceted journalist and translator. As a former BBC producer, she is used to cover stories all over South America. Looking for new challenges, in 2009 she founded her own company, Fixer Argentina, dedicated to quality production services for international broadcasters, production houses and filmmakers. Since then, Macarena and her partner Gert De Saedeleer have produced content for renown broadcasters and outlets as BBC, NBC, ESPN, Channel 5 UK, BNNVARA Netherlands, Amazon, TV 5 Canadá, WarnerBros, Google, Youtube, GQ, Billboard Magazine, NPR, PRI, Univision. In 2020, we produced the short documentary Normality might never be the same - which portrays the work of a newspaper seller, a simple story that shows how the pandemic has impacted on human relations. The film received the second mention of the Photo and Video Contest “Images of a new time” by Fundación Bunge Born 2022, Argentina. Colleagues have always highlighted her great communication and human skills as a team leader, as well as her commitment and creativity. Macarena got the Motion Picture Association grant to participate at the American Film Market as well as a series of seminars by Latin American Training Centre in Los Angeles, USA, 2022.

En ese mismo año dirigí y producí el largometraje “Delta” compuesto por siete directores, el mismo se encuentra en post-producción de sonido. Tengo experiencia realizando cortometrajes, y tutoriales para EHOW Español, Brasil y UK. Así como también, participo desde hace 4 años de manera freelance, en publicidad y TV, en el área de dirección y producción. Mi experiencia esta relacionada al genero ficción, pero el documental es una rama que me interesa explorar. Respecto a las temáticas, me encantaría poder trabajar con personajes que se destaquen del resto, investigar un acontecimiento político y social, poder sumergirme en diferentes culturas, así como también todo lo relacionado al mundo artístico. Hi, my name is Melanie Erbar. I'm 24 years old, recently graduated as a journalist from the UCA in Buenos Aires and am currently searching for interesting stories to tell the world. I work with another storyhunter - Micaela Zeoli - and would like to be able to contribute in the pitching process of ideas. I speak 4 languages, have travelled all my life and therefore developed a strong interest in cultural and social issues. On the other hand, I've always been fascinated by young people and their engagement in society, the way they shape it and mold it, and how conventions can change when the generations change. There are many stories related to this topic, specially in latin america where the youth is expanding their horizons everyday, and becoming more and more aware of the world outside of their continent. These are only some of the reasons I would like to become a storyhunter, but there are many more beneath the surface.

VacaBonsai Colectivo Audiovisual is a community audiovisual production company that was born in 2008 from a student and community project of fiction feature film. It currently has its headquarters in the Casona Cultural Humahuaca, a cultural center in the Abasto neighborhood, in the City of Buenos Aires. One of the main premises of the collective is working in collaboration with other people, groups, organizations and collectives, with the aim of expanding and diversifying the voices and perspectives, the territories and experiences.
