I'm an independent director, cinematographer, and editor that's been dancing between documentary, reportage, and commercial work for the past five years. I'm based in Nairobi, Kenya, and direct/produce for Documist. I've focused a lot of my work on environmental issues, but am also very interested in human rights, investigative work, and arts & culture. I'm fascinated by the personal motivations driving our lives, and work to build stories around people rather than events. I've worked with editorial clients including the New York Times, the Economist, the Guardian, HuffPo, and others. My commercial clients include the Gates Foundation, UNCDF, the WHO, and many more.
