Anne Mireille Nzouankeu is a freelance award-wining Cameroonian print, online and video-journalist based in Yaoundé, Cameroon. I am actually collaborating with Voice of America. I am comfortable in the fields of global development, health, economy, environment, sport and Human Rights. Before working with VOA, my work appeared in various outlets including The Associated Press, SNTV, Reuters, The Guardian, SuperSport, Radio Netherlands Worldwide and The German Press Agency (Dpa). My native language is French but I also speak English.

Christian Locka is a multiple award winning freelance reporter from Cameroon. I expose human rights abuses, corruption, illicit finance flows and organized crime. My work has appeared in the Washington times, Global Post, UsaToday, 100 Reporters, Mail and Guardian, Courrier International, Al Fanar media, etc. I am a two time grantee and fellow of the Fund for Investigative Journalism (FIJ) and winner of the 2015 freelance award of the Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE). Since october 2018, co-founder of the MUSEBA Project, a regional news organization dedicated to fact-based reporting in Central Africa with contribution of freelance journalists from accross the region.

Eric Tamagne is an independent filmmaker who has a special interest in social issues affecting primarily minorities and African descents, as well as a passion for filmmaking and photography. He started his film career working alongside charities in Cameroon, helping them promote their value missions through documentaries. He later co-founded a film productions company “TGEE Productions” through which he produced his first project as the leading director.

I was born on April 9, 1984 in Buea,Cameroon. Before getting into Filmmaking, I have been a recording artist. I have a post production credit (editor) of over 8 short films, 9 feature films, 5 music videos and 6 TV commercials. I have worked in Cameroon, Nigeria, South Africa and in Germany as an independent freelance filmmaker. I am a Berlinale and a Durban Talent Campus alumni and a grant holder with the Akademie Schloss Solitude. I have directed 3 films. My debut was a feature film entitled Obsession and later I went on to direct my first successful short film entitled I.C.U. I will love to hunt for stories that best describe my people, our enviroment, the struggles and the happy moments, infact stories from around here... Cameroon - Africa, where I'm from.

In the past year, he has written a series of reports on key social issues at home, as well as the impact fighting in nearby CAR is having on Cameroon, and on border tensions triggered by fighting between Nigerian forces and the Islamist Boko Haram militant group in Borno State. In 2010 Moki Edwin was named The Cameroon Guardian Post reporter of the year, and he won an environmental reporting award that included a trip to Britain and several journalism courses with Reuters and the BBC.

Africa visually, has not always been well represented in media. The images on TV, in book, magazines and online don't always tell the whole story. Junior studied Politics and Media Studies at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield Connecticut. After 25 years, Junior left the US where he grew up and moved to Yaoundé, Cameroon in Central Africa where he was born. His goal was to help change the perception of Africa abroad using imagery. He knew that there is no single approach to achieve this, so he took on mentors like African Filmmaker Jean Pierre Bekolo in order to learn different areas of communication that form what we see in media today. He quickly took a liking to being behind the camera and in looking for a competitive advantage in the arena, he fell in love with drones. He quickly began posting images of Cameroon from the air for his friends in the US to show how beautiful Cameroon was. This was the light bulb moment. Camairdroneboy was created to help the world discover parts of Africa you don't usually see. Created in Nov. 2015, Camairdroneboy became very active in social media with over 20,000 followers in the first year on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Camairdroneboy was recognized by Dronestagram in 2016 and was elected by Parrot drones as the Bebop 2 ambassador in 2017. Camairdroneboy is creating a website/ catalog where filmmakers would be able to visit beautiful locations across Cameroon and Africa using a combination of VR, 3D, 360 degree photos and video.
