Rafael Vilela is an independent Brazilian photographer currently reporting on social injustice and the environmental crisis in his country. He was one of the founders of Midia NINJA, an initiative that today has more than 8 million followers. His photographs are part of São Paulo’s Museum of Modern Art (MAM-SP) permanent collection. In 2014 he was invited by Magnum Photos to be one of the Brazilian photographers in the OffSide Brazil project to report on the World Cup. Rafael was also nominated for World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass in 2013, 2014 and 2015. He has collaborated on international publications such as The Washington Post, The Guardian, VICE, The Intercept and National Geographic. In 2020 he was selected by National Geographic's Emergency Fund for Journalists covering Covid-19 and his work with Covid Latam won the POYLatam and the FotoEvidence Book Award with World Press Photo.

Luciano Munhoz is a Brazilian-born director and photographer, living between London and São Paulo, with a passion for both storytelling and imagery. Documentary filmmaker and photojournalist, based in São Paulo. My career as a photographer started in 2016 and my photos were part of an exhibition at the Memorial da Resistência in 2018, I participated in the 8th SP Photography Exhibition, I accompanied the IACHR - Inter-American Commission on Human Rights in Brazil, I lectured on documentary photography and photojournalism in places such as: PUC - Pontifical Catholic University, Faculdade Bela Artes, USP - University of São Paulo, Senac, Tiradentes Photography Festival, Paranapiacaba Photography Festival and in 2019 lectured at IMS - Instituto Moreira Salles at the opening of the exhibition of the photographer Letizia Batagllia . My work has been published in several places such as Folha de São Paulo, National Geographic, VICE, Claudia Magazine, Al Jazeera, El País, among others. In 2019 I documented the rupture of the Brumadinho (MG) dam to Folha de São Paulo and National Geographic and also in 2019 I participated in a documentation of riverside communities in the Amazon for Greenpeace Brasil. Today I am part of the team of six photographers from FARPA, an agency created by photographers driven by the concern to tell great stories of life and struggle, always in the perspective of their protagonists, preserving their voice, their vision and their interests and placing our images in the service of a better world. FARPA, appeared in late 2017 and since then has been gathering images of a Brazil and a world through a different look. Fernanda Frazão is a film director, documentarist, screenwriter, and documentary photographer. With over 12 years of experience, she works across different media platforms as a creative outlet to tell stories. Throughout her career, she has traveled the world creating visual content for major Brazilian airlines, ventured into various parts of the Amazon, directed and photographed some of the most interesting people in Brazil. Through a naturalistic aesthetic, she seeks inspiring and authentic stories in everyday life. In photography, her work "Amazônia Lado B" (2017) has received several awards, including the renowned Lensculture Street Photography, and has been exhibited at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) in São Paulo and the Voies Off Rencontres D'Arles 2018 exhibition in France. In cinema, she is a director and screenwriter of "Chega de Fiu Fiu" (2018), a documentary about harassment against women in public spaces in Brazil, nominated for the Grand Prize of Brazilian Cinema, and "Projeta Quebrada" (2023). For TV, she directed the series "#DeixaEla" (2023), for the GNT channel. I'm a photographer and filmmaker based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. But i also edit movies, compose the soundtrack and write journalism articles. I passed the last 7 years studying photography in all the ways as possible for telling a story with respect and emotion to bring the true for certain groups about their lives, and in the last 3 years I started making movies. I'm the co-founder at an independent audiovisual producer called Mangueio. We make documentaries, videoclips, editorial photography and journalistic reports about the social issues that increases everyday in Sao Paulo with the indigenous community, with the peripheral regions, in Crackland, and with people in situations of social vulnerability. Katie Mähler is a German documentary photographer and photojournalist living between Berlin, Germany and São Paulo, Brazil.
