Journalist and Videomaker. I work in the guerrilla video style. Often in good condition, but most often in adverse situations. I write scripts, direct reports, also go out with the camera in hand recording scenes and testimonials. I love to do audio capture too. I've recorded in dozens of indigenous territories, some spent months living next to them, sleeping in hammocks and having to hunt to eat. I have experience of recording in rivers of the Amazon, in small boats and small airplanes. I also spent two years in northeastern Brazil recording about the social inclusion of underprivileged children through sport. Everything related to documentaries can call me that I can handle it. Direction, recording, editing, whatever and wherever I do.

Trabalhei em, produtora de vídeo, agencia de publicidade, estúdio de design e emissora de TV, onde fui um dos responsáveis pelo projeto onde vc se sente bem, que mostrava os lugares preferidos de pessoas relevantes para as cidades de cobertura da TV. Em seguida, com o projeto "Eu e minha cidade" começamos a mostrar ilustres anônimos das cidades que faziam parte da área de cobertura da TV. Como trabalho de conclusão de curso de Produção Multimídia, dirigi o Projeto Eu! que mostrava o processo criativo de várias pessoas de áreas diferentes. Atualmente, dirijo um canal de esquetes de humor no youtube e estou produzindo um documentário sobre o Rock na cidade de Santos.

Rachel is a Brazilian documentary filmmaker, content producer and translator with vast experience in the American media market. She is the owner of MOXYDOX, a small production company based in São Paulo, and works primarily as a Director, Producer and Editor. In 2019, she was an AD, researcher, script collaborator and grant writer on the doc feature "My Darling Supermarket", premiered at IDFA (Netherlands) and at MOMA's Doc Fortnight (USA). Documentary filmmaker, editor, researcher, screenwriter, sound recordist. Born in Natal in 1983 and raised in Bahia, I came to São Paulo in 2001 to study Audiovisual Production. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from the University of São Paulo and have worked as an assistant director, sound recordist and editor over the last few years. My experiences with the Cinemateca Brasileira’s movie collection and my taste for research have boosted one of my passions: archived images and projects that speak to memory and history. Since 2012, I have worked mainly as a director for documentary projects, both made for TV and corporate, as well as an editor for several other projects, including fiction. I directed four shorts, two of them aired in ESPN Brazil: "The Amazing Stories of a Ghost Ship" (doc, 26', 2015) and "Following the Line: the History of Ricardo Prado" (doc, 26', 2016). The films were screened in Brazil, Canada, Chile, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Sweden, in festivals such as It's All True, Hot Docs, FICVIÑA and FESTIn Lisboa. I also directed the third season of a television series entitled "O Papel da Vida" ("The Role of a Lifetime"), which was aired in 2014 in the television channel Canal Brasil. And "Families", a documentary TV series screened at the Brazilian Public Television Network, including TV Cultura and Futura. It won the Prix Jeunesse Iberoamericano - 11 to 15 years, non-fiction. "I'm Still Alive" is his first documentary feature. Released at the 25th CinePE in November 2021, it won the Best Director Award, Best Editor Award, Distribution Award and Special Mention. I'm starting to produce a new television series for the Brazilian TV channel Arte1 and my second documentary feature.
