I love the news, television, and serving our communities by digging for the truth and giving people accurate information about events and issues. It’s so, they can make informed decisions. I’m a big fan of the Scripps-Howard motto: “Give light and the people will find their own way.” I’m an Emmy Award winning news anchor/reporter, most recently for WGCL-TV in Atlanta. I love taking viewers through breaking news and field anchoring. As a proven ratings-getter, I’ve been blessed to have worked with fantastic producers and love working together to craft an informative, energetic, rockin’ newscast. On the road, I‘ve covered hurricanes and presidential campaigns; and especially enjoy producing in-depth reports. My career in journalism started at The University of Maryland at College Park. To pay my way through college, I worked as a news aide for The Washington Post, and as a production assistant for WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. I’ve worked for television stations in Dayton, Cleveland, Raleigh, Houston, Orlando and Washington, D.C. Community involvement is very important to me. I serve on the volunteer board of CAPN Clinics, a charity of medical professionals who provide free care to people who are homeless and families in crisis in Atlanta. I’ve been an after-school tutor for disadvantaged students in D.C., a career day speaker for numerous middle schools and high schools; and an instructor for college students for the NABJ Broadcast Short Course at North Carolina A&T State University. Right now, I also mentor several college journalism students. I’m proud of my work in Houston and in Cleveland, hosting a series of reports on adoption; helping to move kids from foster care, to permanent loving homes. I’ve been featured in newscaster roles for the TBS comedy series “Miracle Workers”, the HBO series “The Outsider”, The Oprah Winfrey Network’s “Greenleaf”; also movies “Brightburn”, “Shaft”, and “Noelle.” Journalism isn’t my only professional passion, I’ve also earned real estate licenses from the states of Maryland, Georgia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

I enjoy planning productions, using creative filming techniques and providing expert post-production services as a strong and experienced video editor. I'm a compassionate video professional that began my career in television news at WSOC-TV Channel 9 - Charlotte while serving as the Chief Video Editor of daybreak, evening, and then later, the prime time 5:00PM newscast. I was eventually promoted to the promotional editor position editing promos and teases for both WSOC and WAXN Charlotte in the late 90s / early 2000s. My career furthered as a full-time show editor for NASCAR Productions and a freelance cinematographer at smaller circuit races for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series. I'm also a voice-over talent. My voice has been used on many radio ads, tv commercials, corporate videos and advertisement bumpers. I was the former show voice for various nationally televised sports shows that aired on Fox Sports Net and Speed Channel. I then founded my own video production firm in 2005 and haven't looked back.

I was born & raised in Newark NJ, I now resides in Charlotte NC. I’m a self published author with 5 books online my latest title “Secret Society, all we ask is trust” by Omar Williams is available on Amazon. Entrepreneur, with a small trucking company, family owned & operated business. I’m currently working on screenwriting, I have a few projects In the making. I pay close attention to detail, with an eye for perfection. I can read a room & also tell a story. It takes me about 3 months to write an average book manuscript with a word count of 90-100,000 of create content. I can produce about 5,000 words in about 2 hrs of content. Once I get started on a project I go into tunnel vision, obsessed with finishing it & waking up randomly out of my sleep at 1-2am and writing for 10-16 hrs straight, along with editing, proof reading, etc without taking a break. Evelyn has always loved to perform. She started with children’s theatre, attended a performing arts high school, and studied voice and acting. Even as an art major in college, she also performed in the theatre. She just can’t stay away. To this day, she continues to sing and act, performing with multiple choirs, theatre groups, and singing professionally with chamber choruses and as a soloist. What she knows about acting, interpreting words and music, and creating a performance informs all her voiceovers. Each project represents a story to tell, an emotion to evoke, an idea to express. Aaron Strand is a filmmaker and actor from Athens, GA. He earned a BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. A self-taught filmmaker, Aaron started his own production company, Stranded Productions in 2018 and has produced, directed, shot and edited commercials, music videos and short films. His work has been shown at the Oxford Film Festival, Manchester Film Festival, and San Francisco IndieFest, among many others and has been featured in ‘The Bitter Southerner’ and ‘Oz Magazine’’.
