Roxanne R Campbell is a visual artist, native of Kingston, Jamaica, raised in Brooklyn, New York. Campbell as a MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, concentration cinematography, from the University of Virginia. Her documentary work is often observational and explores the representation of African and Afro-Caribbean culture and identity, by counter-framing accepted narratives of the African Diaspora in the Americas. Her project Color Bar, is an interview-driven documentary project that examines concepts of race and masculinity in relation to Black identity - in particular, labels and stereotypes associated with skin tone.

Over the last 18 years, I have worked in almost every field of film, TV and video production and television journalism, and have spent the last nine years managing my own news and media production company. I have an excellent knowledge of the industry, as well as a proven track record of running a company and managing staff, projects and budgets. I have lived and worked in many different countries, all over the world, producing anything from news and feature stories, to sport, to branded content and everything in between. My experience overseas has given me a truly unique perspective on global current affairs and has fostered a deep interest in exploring every story I come across from as many different perspectives as I can see. I also have experience of working in conflict zones, covering major riots in China in 2008 and 2009, and I was in Libya for one month, during the fall of Tripoli, working for APTN. As well as possessing exceptional writing skills, my work in TV and new media, has given me a unique skill set, enabling me to get a message out to the widest possible audience, in the most engaging way and often to a tight budget. Isaak Liptzin is a New York based cinematographer and producer with a background in documentary photography. Isaak was born in San Francisco, but grew up and studied in Italy until 2009, when he moved to New York to attend classes in photography and imaging at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. In 2010 he spent seven months working at the studio of acclaimed photojournalist James Nachtwey, and in 2011 he provided photo and video documentation for Peace Child India in Bangalore. In the summer of 2012 he cofounded Awen Films, a nonfiction film production company, contributing his camera and his skills to various projects. He currently works with WNYC Radio as a photographer.
