I am a freelance animator/designer with a passion for fun, challenging motion design work. With more than a decade of experience, I have worked with a wide range of clients, broadcast networks, and design studios. I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology where I received a B.S. in New Media and a M.F.A. in Computer Graphic Design. I have worked full-time positions at the cable networks Current TV and the Oprah Winfrey Network and was the Senior Art Director at Harpo Studios. Most recently, I was the Lead Motion Designer at Carbon VFX.

I am a Chicago-based 2D motion designer and have worked in the industry for over 18 years. Through that time, I have had my hand in just about everything, from teaching to editing, visual effects, design, and animation. I have worked on various projects for large and small screens for clients such as Facebook, Coca-Cola, Nintendo, and Marvel Studios.

For the past decade, I have been a core member of Playground Social, a Chicago-based creative collective of directors, writers, cinematographers, editors, producers, and performers brought together by their passion for filmmaking and curating live experiences. We have produced short films, comedy sketches, music videos, original plays, and live-stream shows, one of which was voted “Best Digital Play” by the Chicago Reader in 2023. As a freelance video editor, I have worked on a variety of documentary shorts, docuseries, industrial, promotional, and educational videos. Currently, I am editing the 15-part docuseries, “Train of Thoughts”, an immersive and interactive storytelling experience that highlights stories of Bronzeville. This socially conscious project’s goal is to spark growth in neglected Chicago communities.
