She's been news director of KGNU Boulder/Denver (kgnu.org), and developed training programs for children and adults in how to be radio producers. In a past life, Shelley headed up Customer Education for a computer company that was known as NBI. Her staff of 24 professionals helped develop the some of the industry's first standalone training manuals for regular people, so they could train themselves in word processing and computer database/spreadsheet programs without intensive assistance from one-on-one trainers.
