A story I directed in Sweden about a victim of human trafficking's plight for freedom. I acquired this client and wrote, directed and shot this promo video as part of their rush towards ICO. I filmed this marketing video that helped secure $2.5 million in funding for Urban I was the Producer of video coverage for this event - organizing and managing a team of 60 (including 12 cameras), location permitting and camera positions, all logistics, gear, scheduling and budgeting. Producer and Co-Director of “Come Back to Sudan”, a documentary about a group of Colorado Sudanese refugee “Lost Boys” who returned to their homeland in Southern Sudan to reunite with their families. Developed story and contacts, managed travel and filming logistics, interviews, recorded field audio, co-wrote script. Marketed the film extensively through festivals and educational programs. The number of missing persons and unidentified remains in the United States has been called “the nation’s silent mass disaster” by the National Institute of Justice. Since 1980, there have been 250,000 recorded unsolved homicides in the United States, and due to lack of funding and support for forensic research and law enforcement training, that number continues to grow. Scientists at the Institut Tommy Caldwell has called Estes Park home for all these years, but it goes beyond that. His dad brought him climbing there for the first time when he was 3 years old and it lit a spark that has yet to be put out. Now Tommy has the luxury of sharing this place with both his son and dad.
