Turning stories into an audiovisual form is my greatest dream and I am living it. I am a video journalist who has worked for 8 years for several Lithuanian TV stations. I started out regionally, transitioned into national and doing everything to be international. I got used filming and editing by myself, digging up stories and delivering it by a deadline. I have made hundreds of various reportages from various countries: politics, social matters, entertainment, science, technology, travel and leisure are all on the list, but my favorite is science. Every topic can become interesting - it's just a matter of dedication and knowledge of filmmaking tools.

Abdul Wali Arian, I am an award-winning journalist. Having obtained a BA in Journalism from Kabul University in 2007, since 2007 I worked for several large Afghan media houses including Kabul-based TOLO TV, ToloNews – part of MOBY group – and TV1, where my reporting has focused on producing documentaries, investigative reports and features focusing on conflict and politics. I am the recipient of at least four awards for my work as a journalist. Among them, I received the Afghan Journalist Safety Committee’s Elite Journalist Award 2014 for my documentary "Home of war Helmand" reporting on the war in Helmand province. Most recently, I was among 12 journalists awarded a medal of valour by President Ashraf Ghani to mark World Press Freedom Day 2016. Originally from Lima, Peru, I received my MFA in Film Directing from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where my thesis film won the Student Academy Award. Since then, I have written and directed two feature films (The Story of Luke, 2013, and FIXED, 2018), directed, shot, and edited a handful of documentaries, and made scores of branded videos for corporate, non-profit, and agency clients. Depending on the project, I can work with a full crew or as a one-man band. I have recently relocated to Copenhagen where I hope to keep working with amazing people and telling their stories.
