Ozzie Hoppe is a bilingual (English & Spanish) photographer / videographer based in Costa Rica and NYC. I work as a freelance news producer, camerawoman and editor based in Costa Rica. As a producer I’ve coordinated several stories related to climate change, green energies, community activism, technology and sports; overseeing all details from logistics and scouting to interview coordination and translation (Spanish/English). Ayerim Villanueva (Dominican Republic, 1987) is a poet and she studied Cinema at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (2012). In October of 2017 he finished his degree in Cinema at the Veritas University of Costa Rica. Her final work of thesis is her short film, Elena, filmed in Costa Rica and received the honorable mention of the film career. Elena was awarded the grand jury prize at the NAHIA Film Festival (Spain 2017), the public prize at the Mittelamerikanisches Film Festival (Austria, 2017) and the special mention of the jury at the Shnit Worldwide Shortfilm Festival in (Costa Rica, 2017) ). In 2016 he worked as Student Jury for the Mezcal Grand Prize at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) (México, 2016) and also as Student Jury at Icaro Festival Internacional de Cine (Guatemala, 2017). Her shortfilms Nostalgia (2013), Rosario (2015), These days (2016) and Trace (2016) have been exhibited in Mexico, Australia, Spain, India, Guatemala, China, Bangladesh, Italy, Malta, Bolivia, Argentina and Serbia.

He is a Spanish director and filmmaker with background as an electronics technician, industrial engineer (University of Alcalá, Spain) with a MSc in renewable energy and architecture (University of Nottingham, UK/China). He shifted his career towards filmmaking using state of the art equipment and techniques. Born and raised in Costa Rica, Valeria obtained a Licenciate degree in Film Production at Veritas University. She was a producer in the Cannes Award winning short film Follow the Frog in 2012, and ever since, she’s worked in different areas in film production that include 1st AD, Fixer and Production Manager. Valeria worked as an additional 2nd AD in Will Smith’s feature film shot in Costa Rica, After Earth, and as a production costume assistant in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, shot in Panama. As a fixer, she has worked on numerous documentaries and reality shows produced by BBC travel, PBS, NBC, CNN Create and NRK TV, among others. She served as production manager for the BBC’s mini series, Stephen Fry in Central America: Costa Rica episode. She was also the producer in Hamish & Andy’s South America Gap Year, Costa Rica episode. Recently she was the fixer of the PBS documentary The Hummingbird Effect. She’s currently based in San José, Costa Rica.

Gordon Durnin has been involved in professional television production in Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada and the United States since 1987. My name is Hector Guzman, I am a Costa Rican Journalist and editor. I have worked (free lance) for CNN en Español from 1996 to 2000 in Bogota, Colombia covering all the events happening in Colombia such us Armed Conflict, Sports, Politics and even Fashion.
