I'm an independent filmmaker with experience from around the world. I make film, music videos, documentaries and editorials for clients such as the BBC, Mercedes-Benz, Adidas Terrex, Pete Tong & The Heritage Orchestra, Red Bull TV and Peugeot. Along with commercials, I have also attained TV credits for directing, filming and editing for the BBC, ITV, S4C and The Bike Channel Sky 464. I film on a RED Digital Cinema Camera with Canon Cine Lenses, which deliver the image in its true form. I look to get the exact picture the client requires whilst adding a unique element, separating the film from others. This is not by design, but by default. I love every second, of every film I produce. From concept, to storyboarding. From filming on location to editing until 4am. I live and breathe film, this is why I do it.

While living in Chicago during the early 2000's Declan started field-producing episodic documentaries for WTTW, the Travel Channel, and FOX, then shot two successful auto racing docs, FOUR BANGERS and TRAILER RACER. in 2003 he completed ULBERT, an award-winning documentary on bipolar disorder. In 2012 Declan produced and shot New Orleans Documentary SHELL SHOCKED, where he now lives. He has since been producer for Jack Newell's OPEN TABLES and 42 GRAMS. In 2022 he produced 2 feature thrillers OFF RAMP and ZERO HOUR. 2023 Starts with a feature thriller called JUNKYARD. Between films Declan produces, shoots and directs smaller projects for commercial, news, music videos and social media.

Freelance Videographer/Photographer. Freelancing now out of Ireland now. Have worked on social media ad campaigns for programmes for Newstalk FM and supplementary social media campaigns for Dunnes Stores Supermarkets. Spent 2 years working for a major news channel (ForoTV) in Mexico City. Producing reports/interviews/capsules for a broad range of their different programmes, incorporating innovation, science, technology, culture, arts, city news, food and cookery. Prior to that I freelanced, producing corporate videos, doing event coverage, occasional press assignments.
