He studied film and music at Vassar College before joining Morgan Spurlock's production company Warrior Poets, where he produced and managed multiple award-winning films, television programs and short form-content. He recently finished producing the music documentary "The Art of Listening" for Sony and is currently producing short films for the film series "We The Voters."

I also have several years of experience in documentary and personal narrative work. I have a master's degree in journalism from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. He was a photojournalist at The Seattle Times and studied visual journalism in college before pivoting to commercial and documentary film production. Kjell's past clients including the National Geographic Channel, NASA, and Netflix. He specializes in drone imagery, frequently incorporating the unique angles in his work. Kjell resides in his hometown, Boulder, Colorado, but previously lived in five different countries and four US states.

The last couple of big doc projects I've completed were for the Oregon Historical Society, the Regional Arts and Culture Council, and the NW Blacksmiths Association.
