There are only two major documentary shows produced in Ukraine that I haven't been part of. Netflix's 'Winter on fire' and BBC's Ukrainian episode of the 'Top gear'. The first one didn't need me being based at the real-time footage filmed by more than 100 video streamers of the Maidan Revolution in 2014. The second one turned out to be dull. 'The Russian Woodpecker' about Chernobyl zone which was also advertised as something big coming from Ukraine is more of a sensationalist trick rather than a documentary. Kyle Norris is from Michigan and spent ten years as a host and reporter with Michigan Radio, the state’s largest NPR-affiliate. He lives in Seattle and works as a producer, reporter and educator.
