China’s got a single men’s crisis. For every 100 women there are 108 men, a side effect of the country’s former one-child policy. And many bachelors aren’t having much luck finding love. Enter Moka, a professional pick-up artist who teaches men how to meet women. China's Singles Day let the uncoupled population nurse their loneliness with a little retail therapy. The holiday also goes by 11-11 for the date – it's full of single ones. Ironically, one of the most popular sale items were baby products. We follow David, a Venezuelan with Colombian citizenship, as he makes the daily journey across the border from Venezuela to Colombia where he attends university. The 2016 peace deal brought hope to many Colombian communities that had been exposed to brutality for decades. Three years on, this hope is being extinguished by a wave of attacks and murders on political candidates and community leaders – many of them women. Teresa and Maria* are seeking asylum in the United States. More than that, they are seeking safety from gang violence and a reprieve from discrimination for simply being a lesbian couple. About Cady V.
I have experience producing documentary films, writing feature articles, and packaging radio & TV pieces. I'm an American based in Bogotá, Colombia, with experience working in English, Spanish and French. In 2015, following dreams of being a full-time storyteller, I moved to India to co-direct a documentary about an orphanage outside the city of Hyderabad. Most recently, I served as the managing editor at Innovations | Stories, an online publication sharing the stories of social innovators all over the Global South. While at Innovations | Stories I designed and spearheaded a multimedia editorial strategy which allowed for more diverse content (a heavier focus on photo and video stories). As managing editor I supported video and photo freelance contributors from all over the world and designed storytelling trainings for social innovators to tell their own stories. I'm originally from Berkeley, California, USA and I earned my B.S. from the University of California, Davis in Community and Regional Development with a minor in Art Studio (focusing on video and photography). From 2010-2015 I directed a global education program called One World Youth Project (OWYP), based in Washington, DC. At OWYP I designed middle school (age 10-14) curriculum and trained university students to teach it around the world in their own communities. The program taught the children cross-cultural communication by empowering them to create and send video, photo, and written messages to their partner classroom abroad - all facilitated by trained university student volunteers. While serving as program director at OWYP I had the privilege of traveling around the world visiting schools and delivering trainings at universities. My work in education and the opportunity to see so much of the world made me realize I wanted to tell stories. Storytelling is the best form of education anyway.

About Dima K.
There are only two major documentary shows produced in Ukraine that I haven't been part of. Netflix's 'Winter on fire' and BBC's Ukrainian episode of the 'Top gear'. The first one didn't need me being based at the real-time footage filmed by more than 100 video streamers of the Maidan Revolution in 2014. The second one turned out to be dull. 'The Russian Woodpecker' about Chernobyl zone which was also advertised as something big coming from Ukraine is more of a sensationalist trick rather than a documentary. Each and every big Western documentary production company working in Ukraine has hired me to do the job. Major works are listed on my IMDB profile and at my agency's website. IMDB profile: imdb.com/name/nm3002393 Website: fixerukraine.com I've worked as a local producer/ fixer for the majority of the Vice's shows in Ukraine including 'Cold War 2.0', 'Black Market', 'Cyberwar', 'Gaycation' and 'World in Disarray', BBC's 'The Great Continental Railway Show with Michael Portillo' and 'Inside Chernobyl's Megatomb', Chernobyl's episode of the 'Abandoned Engineering' fro Discovery, History's 'Cities of Underworld' and many more. Here is short CV: 2014 - 2018 - full-time freelance local producer/ fixer (NBC, NatGeo, Vice, BBC, AJ, Discovery, RTL4, BNN Vara etc.) 2014 - 2016 - producer (Vocativ) 2004 - 2014 - part-time fixer for Western media/ television director & presenter for local media (1+1, STB, New Channel) 2002 - 2004 - E.Muskie program fellow (Ohio University Graduate Media Arts program) 1998 - 2004 - journalist for the major Ukrainian television companies (1+1, First National Channel, Inter)

None is warmer, more expressive or more natural than Kyle's. He has this innate intimacy that invites the listener into a story in a totally welcoming way. That carries over into his interviewing. Kyle has such an ability to get the perfect quote that goes beyond the superficial. From government officials to kids in an art class, Kyle connects with the people he talks to, and that's a gateway for the audience to connect as well.”
