Frankfurt, Germany
$900 - $2000
2 reviewsAward winning Filmmaker, Creative Producer, Director of Photography and CEO of Indievisuals Film Production since 2008, with wide ranging experience in the film business, based out of Frankfurt Germany. I am passionate about serious journalism and documentaries that have the potential to make positive change. Over the years I have shot many stories for broadcasters such as NBC, History Channel, ARD and SWR and I work a-lot for Europe’s largest broadcaster ZDF. My company Indievisuals is fully equipped with top of the range camera gear such as Sony FS7, Sony A7SII and a wide range of accessories, quality lenses, lighting gear, sound equipment, drones, sliders, gimbals, green screen, 2 editing suites, sound studio etc. Basically I can provide any service and equipment necessary for a high-end video production. I am bilingual in English and German, with dual citizenship and a journalistic VISA permitting me to work in the USA. I was born in South Africa, raised in London, have 2 BA(Hons) in film studies sand film production and work out of Frankfurt Germany. I have experience shooting in well over 50 countries, on all continents of the world. Apart from my camera work, I am a film tutor at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and have worked as a Keynote Speaker for Canon Europe. At Indievisuals Film Production we love diving into the world of the people and stories that populate our films. This helps us understand the cosmos of our clients and produce unique experiences. We help companies to clearly communicate their services, products and brands with powerful images and animations. We develop concepts & ideas for video campaigns and carry out every step of production, from story development to post-production. Here are just a few of the corporate clients we have helped over the years: Converse, IKEA, L’oreal, Phillips, Samsung, Siemens, Goodyear, Jaguar, Procter & Gamble, Deutsche Bank, TEAC, San Pellegrino, Telekom, TUI, Panasonic, Porsche and many more… I want to help make the world a better place with my films and draw attention to important social issues such as education, integration, human rights and environmental protection. Alongside my corporate and TV work, I am very proud to make powerful films for clients such as the UN, the Red Cross, Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project and various other NGOs and charities. Our work for the BNI Foundation has helped raise millions for the education of children worldwide. One of these videos alone helped raise more than 20,000 Euros for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan’s in Malaysia. This proves how effective video can be with such relief efforts. Another film raised over 12,000 Euros for Tareto Maa, a project in Africa to combat genital mutilation. For these efforts I was awarded the 2019 Moneygram Migrant Entrepreneur Award for Social Responsibility.

Heiko A.
Berlin, Germany
$350 - $600
1 reviewAfter traveling the world on a bicycle for almost two years, Heiko Aufdermauer has studied FILM DIRECTION at HFF Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg. In 2008, he was rewarded with a DAAD post-graduate scholarship for Kolkata / India. Apart from a documentary in Eastern Germany (JAPAN IS UNDERNEATH), many times he worked abroad: in India, he shot the shortfilm DIVINE DURGA and in Iran, he did ZAAR – both for arte. His artistic roots are alike in narrative film (e.g. the award winning feature film ZEIT DER FISCHE ) as well as in internationally successful experimental work (Förderpreis dt. Film in Hof, Oberhausen, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Houston). In addition to his work on two new feature films, in recent years, he directed and shot as D.O.P. hundreds of commercials, scenes, music clips and short films as commissioned work. This created a virtuosity in dealing with a wide variety of genres and narrative possibilities within the short form. Beside his work as a freelance director, writer, videographer, D.O.P. and producer, in 2010 he founded SILENTFILM ARTIST COLLECTIVE as a platform for image films, documentary and music videos.

Berlin, Germany
$500 - $1000
1 reviewBorn in Görlitz, raised in the eastern part of Berlin. Starting with photography, my passion has always been capturing what I see. Framing a shot is still the best. I did a three-year training at the film archives and learned everything about "real" film. Afterwards I studied Audio-Visual Media in Berlin and did my Diploma in Camera in 2009. Since then my fascination for creating moving images has taken me all around the world. Together with two friends and over the course of almost five years I successfully ran my own film production company focusing on commercials, brand-videos and portraits. In 2016 I left Kings&Kongs Filmproduktion to go back to my roots enjoying life as a DoP freelancer again. I still work closely together with www.kingsandkongs.de I love to work in both fields of documentaries and advertisments. My heart belongs to the beauty of nature, and my heart belongs to people & their stories. With my own professional equipment I like to travel a lot even to the most remote places in the world. My clients include Samsung, Huawei, Telekom, Volkswagen, Ritter Sport, Booking.com, Opel, Juniqe, Montblanc and several international TV Stations.
