Hello! I am an independent producer, editor, and video journalist living in Berlin, Germany, originally from the US. My work ranges from music videos to corporate documentaries to short fiction films, although I've always had a passion for free-form documentary film that seeks to raise social awareness. After traveling the world on a bicycle for almost two years, Heiko Aufdermauer has studied FILM DIRECTION at HFF Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg. In 2008, he was rewarded with a DAAD post-graduate scholarship for Kolkata / India. Apart from a documentary in Eastern Germany (JAPAN IS UNDERNEATH), many times he worked abroad: in India, he shot the shortfilm DIVINE DURGA and in Iran, he did ZAAR – both for arte. Born in Görlitz, raised in the eastern part of Berlin. Starting with photography, my passion has always been capturing what I see. Framing a shot is still the best. However, life had different plans, leading me back to Germany, specifically Munich, in 1997. At that time, Munich was home to both 1860 Munich and Bayern Munich, with Unterhaching providing its own surprises. Versatile Career: While gaining extensive experience in finance, stockbroking, and agricultural data research, I've been dubbed a "Germanophile through gritted teeth" by my wife. From football icons to political leaders, I've covered a vast spectrum during almost three decades in Germany. I've had the privilege of witnessing unforgettable moments at German stadiums. Cricket Enthusiast: Beyond my family, I have a passion for cricket and worked as Head of Media and Communications for the European Cricket Network. Linda Paganelli is a visual anthropologist and filmmaker. Her primary areas of interest are human rights in war zones, the relationship between power and minorities, refugees and migrants, history of art and contemporary art. Adriana Berroterán is a cinematographer originally hailing from Venezuela and currently based in Berlin. She began her career in the audiovisual world in 2007 and she’s an active member of The ICF+C, Apertura DOP, Free The Work and Sporas. Since 2021 Adriana is part of the jury board (music video and cinematography categories) of the D&AD Awards, the most prestigious benchmark for creative excellence in design and advertising. Her portfolio combines beautifully crafted shots full of poetry and mystery. She feels a deep attraction for the taboo, the forbidden, the mystical and the human body, which she considers tools of liberation and self-knowledge. Her creative interest lies in intersectionality and challenging the aesthetic parameters imposed by a society that lives in the framework of heteronormativity. As a cinematographer, Marcus has focused on projects that explore and document the natural and man-made world. His passion for visual storytelling has taken him on expeditions around the world from the top of One World Trade to the Israel-Palestine border wall, from Antarctica to Madagascar. Marcus is proud to have trekked inside volcanoes in Costa Rica and into the desert of Oman with scientists. His film and TV clients include Amazon, Science Channel, National Geographic Channel, Discovery, CNN, Animal Planet, PBS, & the American Museum of Natural History among many others.

I am a freelance mobile videographer (iPhone, DSLR) specialized in filming for digital marketing purposes, mobile reporting, reports and documentaries. After studying English Philology, New History and Politics at FU Berlin and University College Dublin I was trained to become a TV journalist and author. Doing this I worked with and for well-known German TV stations such as ARD, Pro Sieben or Kabel 1. I'm also a trained VJ with the ARD.ZDF Medienakademie and worked as an online news editor for DPA, Videovalis and Bitprojects too. In 2014 I founded my own company So Handy to provide one stop content for businesses, organizations and public institutions. Since then I have realized more than 100 mobile films for more than 30 customers. I'm interested in peoples' stories, social impact and historical events.
