This documentary was filmed over 2-years with a collaborative creative group. My main role was editor and I created this trailer for our kickstarter campaign. Ironically this trailer won an audience-choice award in the Possible Futures Film Competition. This web video was produced in 1-day, shot on a green screen for a promotion called "How Are You Familying?" where users were invited to upload their stories to a Youtube Channel. This mini-documentary was shot over the course of 3-days and is currently being used as a recruitment video for The 501st Legion, a non-profit Star Wars costuming organization that raises money for charity. On July 20, 2017, shortly after midnight, Keegan Von Roberts, a young black man, was shot and killed in front of his house by his white neighbor, Michael Centanni. Centanni was never charged, protected under the self-defense argument. The case is complicated and controversial – here’s a deeper look. When Shahla Latifi was an 18-year-old pharmacy student living in Kabul, Afghanistan, it was arranged that she would marry a 50-year-old Afghan man living in Jacksonville, Florida. She was excited to leave a violent Afghanistan for a man who seemed kind and promised her she could finish her degree in the United States. Instead, Shahla was locked into a 22 years of mental, emotional, physical and se When Rostand Ndong Essomba’s sister passed away unexpectedly, he was 14 years old. Little did he know that turning his focus to basketball would lead him on a wild journey from his home country of Cameroon to Stockbridge, Georgia, when he was 17. Once in Georgia, a nightmare became reality for Essomba and numerous other international athletes. Medfusion came to us with a challenge. They had been invited to present their newest product at a prestigious conference and needed to stand out to get the attention of some key potential investors. The only problem was they had barely launched their app and didn’t have any real testimonial stories yet. This video we produced was a huge hit and allowed traction to be gained for their new app. More than 25 years ago, cystic fibrosis patient Howell Graham was the first patient at UNC Health Care to receive a double lung transplant. Now, he's reflecting on the gift he received and the life he has lived. On StoryDriven's pre-interview phone call with Howell, he confided his deep longing to reach out to his donor family, and thank them for the life he received. We realized that we had a gre Elizabeth spent 30 years walking on her toes. Surgery after surgery went by without any success. She was self-conscious about walking on crutches and hid from the world. She was recommended for a genomic sequencing trial by her doctor at UNC Hospitals, and within six weeks she was walking - without crutches. The Hirshhorn Museum of Contemporary Art in D.C., has engineered a recovery from decline and controversy, pairing blockbuster exhibits with savvy social media strategy. Like at many museums, that social media is bringing more visitors and more online engagement, but it's also changing the art museum experience itself.

About Margaret W.
Margaret Cheatham Williams is an Emmy-nominated independent film producer and editor, currently seeking opportunities and collaborations in the film, audio, and outdoor space. Previously Margaret Cheatham was a documentarian at The New York Times, where she pitched, produced, shot and edited narrative and documentary video and photography. She regularly collaborated with the graphics department to create interactive content. She is particularly driven to stories that examine the intersection of health, family and personal identity. Through deep character exploration, she aims to tackle intimate issues including gender, fertility, and sexuality. In 2018 she piloted Conception, a highly visual and lyrical exploration of the myriad ways that women become mothers, and the journey that ensues. In the series, we introduce you to six women — each with a transformation uniquely theirs — in first-person accounts of love, regret, doubt and strength. Season II addresses the complexities of raising children in our modern era – We asked parents: What does it mean to raise children in the context of #MeToo, the immigration discussion, the opioid crisis and the gun debate? Her other work at the Times took her to Pyeongchang, South Korea where she covered the Winter Olympics, to Brazil, and all over the US, where she has reported on postpartum depression, politics and produced 360 video. Margaret Cheatham’s work has been recognized by the Livingston Awards, the Hearst Foundation, Pictures of the Year International, the National Press Photographers Association, Society for News Design, and the South by Southwest interactive awards. Her films have premiered at AFI Fest and the Margaret Mead Film Festival. In 2016 she was selected as an alternate for the Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship, which provides opportunities for U.S. citizens to participate in an academic year of overseas travel and storytelling on a globally significant theme. She has been a multimedia coach at the North Carolina Photojournalism workshop and has served as judge for the National Press Photographers Association Best of Photojournalism contest and the White House Press Association. Previously she a video intern for The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post and MediaStorm, an award winning multimedia production house. She completed a bachelor's degree in 2011 from the School of Media and Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied photojournalism and French. Margaret Cheatham loves pineapple, lives in San Francisco with her husband, and the other love of her life – their West Virginian mutt, Duma. Her company, Moxie’s Daughter, is named for her mother, the best photo assistant she’ll ever have.

About Mike D.
I love the news, television, and serving our communities by digging for the truth and giving people accurate information about events and issues. It’s so, they can make informed decisions. I’m a big fan of the Scripps-Howard motto: “Give light and the people will find their own way.” I’m an Emmy Award winning news anchor/reporter, most recently for WGCL-TV in Atlanta. I love taking viewers through breaking news and field anchoring. As a proven ratings-getter, I’ve been blessed to have worked with fantastic producers and love working together to craft an informative, energetic, rockin’ newscast. On the road, I‘ve covered hurricanes and presidential campaigns; and especially enjoy producing in-depth reports. My career in journalism started at The University of Maryland at College Park. To pay my way through college, I worked as a news aide for The Washington Post, and as a production assistant for WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. I’ve worked for television stations in Dayton, Cleveland, Raleigh, Houston, Orlando and Washington, D.C. Community involvement is very important to me. I serve on the volunteer board of CAPN Clinics, a charity of medical professionals who provide free care to people who are homeless and families in crisis in Atlanta. I’ve been an after-school tutor for disadvantaged students in D.C., a career day speaker for numerous middle schools and high schools; and an instructor for college students for the NABJ Broadcast Short Course at North Carolina A&T State University. Right now, I also mentor several college journalism students. I’m proud of my work in Houston and in Cleveland, hosting a series of reports on adoption; helping to move kids from foster care, to permanent loving homes. I’ve been featured in newscaster roles for the TBS comedy series “Miracle Workers”, the HBO series “The Outsider”, The Oprah Winfrey Network’s “Greenleaf”; also movies “Brightburn”, “Shaft”, and “Noelle.” Journalism isn’t my only professional passion, I’ve also earned real estate licenses from the states of Maryland, Georgia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

About Evelyn M.
Evelyn has always loved to perform. She started with children’s theatre, attended a performing arts high school, and studied voice and acting. Even as an art major in college, she also performed in the theatre. She just can’t stay away. To this day, she continues to sing and act, performing with multiple choirs, theatre groups, and singing professionally with chamber choruses and as a soloist. What she knows about acting, interpreting words and music, and creating a performance informs all her voiceovers. Each project represents a story to tell, an emotion to evoke, an idea to express. She has the foundation to present a great performance, and carries with her the hallmarks of true artistry. She applies her love of performance in other professional situations, too – as a presenter, moderator, teacher, and narrator in educational and business settings. Her intelligence, her ability to inhabit a character, and a voice ranging from “champagne to whiskey” can bring words and characters to life.

I’m a self published author with 5 books online my latest title “Secret Society, all we ask is trust” by Omar Williams is available on Amazon. Entrepreneur, with a small trucking company, family owned & operated business. I’m currently working on screenwriting, I have a few projects In the making. I pay close attention to detail, with an eye for perfection. I can read a room & also tell a story. Once I get started on a project I go into tunnel vision, obsessed with finishing it & waking up randomly out of my sleep at 1-2am and writing for 10-16 hrs straight, along with editing, proof reading, etc without taking a break. I can’t explain it really. I would love to meet new people to work with, create with & bring their thoughts & ideas to life. Contact me let’s get to work.
