Kim Munsamy (1987) es realizadora sudafricana de cine documental. Tiene una licenciatura de Arte Dramático con Especialidad en Cine y TV en Sudáfrica. Después de una pasantía en Cape Town Community Televisión (CCTV) trabajó como productora y editora en Workers World en un programa de televisión que facilitaba el intercambio entre sindicatos y trabajadores y exponía injusticia y explotación en fabricas en el Cabo. El programa fue transmitido por CCTV. En Sudáfrica ha trabajado principalmente en cortos documentales sobre reforma agraria y los efectos de la minería en el pos apartheid. En 2010 le fue otorgada una beca para un intercambio de 8 semanas en el Centro Documental de la Universidad George Washington y en 2011 fue seleccionada para participar en el Berlinale Talent Campus. Ese mismo año fue invitada a Guatemala a participar como panelista en el Festival Memoria, Verdad, Justicia. Ha trabajado con la Fundación Rigoberta Menchú en cortometrajes que documentan los procesos judiciales en casos relacionados al conflicto armado interno en Guatemala. A finales de 2012 presentó el trabajo "Donde el tiempo se detiene" en el Festival Truth is Concrete, en Graz, Austria y en 2013 participó en la competencia Focus Forward Films de GE / CINELAN con el cortometraje documental "Los huesos no mienten y no olvidan", que fue premiado y se presentó en el marco del Festival de Cine de Sundance. En 2016 estudió un curso de Cinefotografía Digital en la UNAM, México. Actualmente vive en Guatemala donde ha realizado trabajos documentales sobre la post guerra y temas políticos y sociales.

Luis Echeverria is a Guatemalan photojournalist and videographer with an interest in current affairs, documentaries and environmental issues. During his career he has worked in different media outlets, international news agencies and as a photo editor. He has collaborated for Reuters, National Public Radio (NPR), Al Jazeera and Bloomberg. Anais Taracena is an audiovisual director graduated in Master of Political Science and Sociology. For the past 10 years she has been working on audiovisual projects focused on social issues (memory, youth, gender and human rights…). She currently lives in Guatemala and has worked as freelance photographer and audiovisual director for Amnesty International Mexico, Action Aid France, We Effect and Plaza Pública (investigative journalism) among others organizations. She directed several short films that have been projected in international festivals and universities. "The silence of the Mole” Anais’s feature film has been screened in more than 80 Film Festivals and has won 23 international awards such as the Best Documentary Prize at Malaga Film Festival, the Special Jury Award at the Jeonju International Film Festival, South Korea and the Tim Hetherington Award in Sheffield Doc Fest. I’m a bilingual freelance journalist and translator currently based in Central America. My work focuses on human rights, gender and transitional justice and has appeared in Newsweek en Español, The Boston Globe, Foreign Policy, The Economist Intelligence Unit, Al Jazeera, Christian Science Monitor, Americas Quarterly, Latinamerica Press, The International Justice Tribune, Womens’ e News and Inter-Press Service. I have also worked as an editor for the Investigative Reporting Initiative in the Americas, a project supported by the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ). In 2013, I won the Gold Standard Award for Excellence in Economics and Business Journalism for an article on inclusive and sustainable corporate models published by Estrategia&Negocios magazine. Throughout my career I have been awarded a number of journalism fellowships, including the International Women’s Media Foundation’s Elizabeth Neuffer Fellowship in 2014-2015. During this seven-month fellowship I took courses at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard, I wrote a guest column for The Boston Globe and I worked with the New York Times immigration reporter, covering stories about the Latino community. In 2017, I was competitively selected as one of the World Press Institute fellows and spent three months in the U.S., interviewing media professionals and policymakers on key issues such as climate change, nuclear security and fake news. My extensive travel experience in Latin America includes covering the 2013 Summit of the Pacific Alliance in Cali, Colombia, and the Pope’s visit to Mexico in 2016. In 2017, I was also selected as one of the IWMF Adelante Reporting Fellows and after undertaking Hostile Environment and First Aid Training (HEFAT), I traveled to Choco, Colombia, to report on population displacement and sexual violence.

I am Jorge from Guatemala and I love capturing moments to communicate a message that will be relevant to our generation, I have been in the film and video editing business for over 5 years, in which I have had the oportunity of working for non profits, business and recently I had the oportunity of writing, and directing my first 30 minute shortfilm. Guatemalan multimedia journalist experienced in audiovisual production. I was born in Guatemala City and got a degree in Communication Sciences. Since 2012, I've worked as multimedia journalist. At first, I worked in a small magazine for young people focused on Guatemalan political issues named Brújula of the Rafael Landivar University. From 2012 to August 2018 I was in charge of generating content in various formats (videos, photoreports, podcasts, texts, etc.). And from September 2018, I started working as an audiovisual journalist for the Plaza Pública. Since then, I have worked on issues such as migration, poverty and inequality, access to services and human rights. Last yearI have also done some collaborations for national and international media such as Comvite Magazine, Quórum digital media, BBC and The Insider in New York.
