Massive economic barriers prevent them from reaching out to lawyers, and the NGOs and state institutions designed to help them have too few resources to reach everyone. To combat this the Rural Legal Trust is empowering networks of farm-dwellers, by giving them the tools they need to raise and address their own issues. As news editor at Business Day TV, I interviewed Jordan Belfort in a standard face to face news format. He'd visited South Africa to talk about his changed life from fraudster to motivational speaker and I interviewed him before he went on stage. As part of the process of working on improving tourism in Southern Africa, we produced a series of short videos for our client GIZ of Germany and the Southern African Development Community. Kumbulani Zamuchiya is an independent filmmaker and producer with a specialization in documentary and arts focused productions.
