Rain, Snow, Ice, Wind and 19,431 feet of an ancient volcano couldn’t stop these 15 climbers from summiting the highest point of Africa for the sake of 60 Zimbabwean orphans. The Africa everybody wants. Romance, adventure and a little pampering. This is where the original views of David Livingston teams up with unforgettable and wild experiences to form the ultimate story. The dance takes place under the African sun and features all the amenities and pleasant faces of the growing chain of hotels. The original music track has a subtle way of that pulling the viewer in. A couple of months ago one of Savé Valleys rhino ops teams discovered that Chimoko, a young black rhino bull, was suffering from a nasty leg injury caused by a snare. He was limping and dripping blood but could not be treated without an x-ray, vets and a full support team. That is why we came back and brought an x-ray and a team of experts to the Zimbabwean bush, to save Chimoko. For the first time, thanks to new technology, cameras filmed at night, in colour, which the eye does not see. This allows us to penetrate to the heart of the secret life of the fauna and more especially of the elephant people. Then begins the incredible odyssey of the elephant and his family to survive through the wildest and desolate spaces of southern Africa. Commissioned by CMedia Africa to Shoot and Edit time-lapse videos for short corporate commercial for Potraz (The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe) and Zol (Zimbabwe’s leading Internet Service Provider). Velemu village is situated South East of Zimbabwe in Chiredzi East Constituency. The same is some eighty kilometers South West of the Sugarcane town of Chiredzi. This area is amongst hordes of villages of people of the Shangaani origin who are living in uncertainty as their existence in the land they inhabit is on the verge of extinction as their land is yet again about to be taken away from them for what will be the third time in a century. Madomestics set in present day Zimbabwe, at a time the economic crisis is biting, people are trying to contain their Ubuntu, but the pressure of survival threaten relationships. Domestics is a pressure cooker of family ties tested by the pressure to survive. A microcosm of the broader society as it looks at relationship and social cohesion. It subtly explores and dramatizes the social and economic human stories of Zimbabweans anchored in universal themes. This musical video was my project meant to celebrate plus-size women. It was just an experimental video. The song by Andy Muridzo Ngwenya is a dedication to GONYETI aka Samantha Kureya and all full-figured women ZIMRA Charity Ball 2018 Event
