Originally an undocumented immigrant from Argentina, Eduardo Daniel Vilchez has been involved in media and video production since 2001 in all capacities in front and behind the camera. “A dreamer before Dreamers,” Mr. Vilchez knows the importance of supporting communities of color and the importance of mainstream narratives and how they bring about positive change where it is most needed. Danny Ghitis (b. 1982) is an editorial and commercial photographer whose personal projects revolve around the relationship between memory and identity. The son of Jewish South American immigrants, he moved around a lot as a child, which helped him to develop a lifelong interest in documenting the lives of strangers and culturally ambiguous communities. With his work he attempts to pose questions, rather than answers, to challenge expectations and encourage introspection. Collin Brazie is a Director of Photography working in the narrative, documentary and commercial/branded fields. He studied at Dodge School of Media Arts at Chapman University in Southern California under Bill Dill, ASC. He has lensed a wide variety of projects, - most notably the features All I Need, the award winning drama Retake, and web shows for the CW and Hulu. Beyond the narrative field he has traveled the country shooting documentaries and branded commercials for numerous Fortune 500 companies. Amanda Florian is an American director, journalist, and entertainer based between the U.S. and Shanghai, China. She grew up in the entertainment industry, training in classical Italian at the age of eight--and in musical theater and pop shortly thereafter. As a young girl, she'd frequently travel to New York City to train in theater, dance, and voice. Florian, alongside her triplet sisters, has performed on NBC, at The Billy Graham Library, and at Seacrest Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina. For 10 years, she and her sisters volunteered to sing at the Festa Italiana, an annual festival in Charlotte that raises money for those with special needs. Her first documentary film was a 23-minute short on homelessness in Johnson City, Tennessee. Aristide Economopoulos is freelance photographer in the New York City metropolitan area. His experience includes over two decades with NJ Advance Media / The Star-Ledger where he specialized in documentary essays and covered a variety of topics from international conflict, urban violence, natural disasters, politics to local community news and professional and prep sports. An eight-time Photographer of The Year with the New York Press Photographers Association, he has won numerous awards including World Press Photo, Sony World Photo Awards, Siena International Photo Awards, Pictures of the Year International, National Press Photographers Association’s Best of Photojournalism, NPPA Cliff Edom New America Portfolio, Casey Medals for Meritorious Journalism, The Scripps Howard Foundation National Journalism Award. A portfolio of his work from the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in Manhattan was awarded first place in Pictures of the Year International. His photographs have been exhibited at museums and galleries throughout the United States and internationally and are archived in the Library of Congress. Ryan Christopher Jones is Mexican-American photojournalist and anthropologist originally from Central California, currently living in Cambridge, MA. He is a regular contributor to The New York Times, ProPublica and The Washington Post, and often works on stories of labor, environment and migration across the United States and Mexico. Two of his 2021 collaborations with the Center for Collaborative Investigative Journalism examined the nebulous politics of water in California’s Central Valley. Other recent work also includes in-depth reporting during the Covid-19 pandemic in New York City and Boston, the overdose crisis, NYC housing crisis, and economic mobility. He has written about the ethics of photojournalism in two 2018 op-eds for The New York Times, “How Photography Exploits the Vulnerable” and “The Deja Vu of Mass Shootings.” In 2022-23 he was a judge for the Pulitzer Prizes and was also awarded the American Mosaic Journalism Prize for his coverage on under-reported communities across the U.S. He is currently a PhD student in Social Anthropology at Harvard University, where he will continue to study the political ecology of water, space and power in California, with a focus on the ways that Latinx and farmworker communities are responding to climate devastation across the Western United States.

William Thomas Cain is a professional photojournalist whose body of work spans from editorial to commercial in his 30 years of experience. He accredits his diverse background to his extensive education at Philadelphia’s University of the Arts. While completing 4 years at the university, in 1987 Mr. Cain earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in illustration with a minor in photography. Upon his graduation William Thomas Cain began work at the Philadelphia Inquirer until 1999. While there he perfected the fine art of photojournalism by juxtaposing graphic illustrative concepts with editorial imagery. Charles is an East Coast based photographer and cinematographer whose passion for capturing the beauty in the brutal has taken him globally, from the continental United States to the Far East. Shooting professionally for the better part of a decade with a Bachelor of Science in Photography from Drexel University, his work blurs the lines between personal and commercial.
