Alessandro Rampazzo, Italian photojournalist and video maker, born in 1986. I started working as professional in 2010 in a local newspaper. After some months I decided to leave local stories to experiment the international context. I decided to move to Tunisia first, and than to Egypt to cover the so called Arab Spring. In the last two years I have been working mainly in North Africa region with stories focused on the aftermath of the revolution mainly in Tunisia and Egypt.I realized a story in Greece, Patras, with the sub-Saharan immigrants looking for a better life in Europe. I went back to Italy where I focused mainly on society stories related to the changes of society In 2014 I've been working in Brazil on environmental and social stories, and in Albania on a story about blood revenge. I'm also working on a long term project about Independence movement in Europe. Since 2015 I'm based in Helsinki where I developed also as a videographer.

About Erol M.

He was born in Kars, Turkey in 1983. He wrote his thesis about the cinema of Tarkovsky. Mintaş’s short Snow, completed in 2010, received the Golden Orange for best film in Antalya Film Festival that is one of the most prestigious awards in Turkey. Snow has competed in various film festivals in the country and around the world won eight different awards. His debut feature Song of My Mother was selected for co-production markets and work-in-progress sections in Meetings on the Bridge at Istanbul IFF, Agora at Thessaloniki IFF, Sundance Script Lab at !f Istanbul. It received the post-production and distribution award at Meetings on the Bridge. The film was supported by Turkish Ministry of Culture and CNC Cinema du Monde. Song of My Mother, won Heart of Sarajevo Award for Best Film and Best Actor Award in 2014, in the country and around the world film won fourteen different awards.

Jekaterina Saveljeva was born in Narva, Estonia, grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and was based in Ireland for over 10 years. Jekaterina began her career in Ireland working with local newspapers. In 2012 she was doing freelance work for the New York Times. In the same year, she was awarded the Simon Cumbers Media Fund to work on a story in Tanzania. Jekaterina’s work has also been published in the Irish Times, Fairplanet, Metro Eireann, Folk er Folk (Norway), Vision Magazine (China), Photojournale, and has been used by AP and Reuters. She has worked as a photo editor at the Reuters Pictures, as well as studio photographer and editor at Studio Tomas Saraceno. Finalist of PhotoPhilanthroy Photography awards in the Student Category 2014. Her photographs have been exhibited in Estonia, Ireland and Poland. In 2014 Jekaterina graduated from Dublin City University in Media Production Management (B.A., Hons), and has a diploma in print journalism. She speaks Russian, English and basic French and Spanish.

I have many courses that included a variety of computer-based classes that focused on the use of computer-aided design software, creating videos, interactive media and video and audio editing procedures. Other courses that helped prepare me for this position include typographies, color and camera applications and lighting. My experience includes four years of fieldwork as a video editing and Photography. My personal skills include being creative and having the ability to use good judgment and make great decisions that will benefit production. It also includes being a great communicator with active listening skills and the ability to stay positive when receiving negative feedback. I also have the ability to stay focused and organized while working in this fast-paced environment, which can often be very stressful due to the tight deadlines.My energetic and outgoing personality makes it easy to make that connection with other professionals in the field and I am very detail-oriented.
