It received the post-production and distribution award at Meetings on the Bridge. The film was supported by Turkish Ministry of Culture and CNC Cinema du Monde. Song of My Mother, won Heart of Sarajevo Award for Best Film and Best Actor Award in 2014, in the country and around the world film won fourteen different awards.
