Since then his cinematography and editing has been seen in such shows as Showtime's The Circus, Animal Planet's Swamp Wars, Bravo's Real Housewives of Miami, National Geographic's The Years of Living Dangerously, and Funny or Die. His film work includes 8: The Mormon Proposition with Academy Award winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black which premiered at Sundance Film Festival and For Once in My Life with Grammy Nominated Mark Moormann winner of the Audience Award at SXSW. As a director, his first feature documentary Full Circle: Before They Were Famous chronicled Andy Warhol and Robert Indiana’s rise to international pop art fame through a series of never before seen photographs. It has been screened around the world, including The Warhol Museum, The British Museum in London, and on PBS stations. His other films include Datuna: Portrait of America (Winner, Raindance Film Festival, London), Taylor & Ultra: On the 60s, The Factory and Being a Warhol Superstar (Nominated Best Doc Short, Tribeca Film Festival, New York) and Foster Shock, an expose on the Foster Care System in Florida (Nominated Best Feature Doc, Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards). Joseph Carter has over 15 years of experience in Latin America- mostly in Brazil where he was based in Rio de Janeiro. He has worked as a cameraman, presenter, producer and actor for Brazilian, European and American channels and production companies on a freelance basis for the last 13 years. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, English and Italian (and some French), and has an extensive web of contacts throughout Central and South America. This has helped him produce and film stories ranging from following drug gangs in the Rio slums, to illegal gold mining and logging in the Peruvian and Brazilian Amazon, following police operations against gangs in the Caracas slums of Petaré and La Vega, to covering the Colombian conflicts in the Choco, Putumayo and Cauca regions of Colombia. He began his career as a sociologist and earned a Masters in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin before moving to Washington D.C. and working in International Development. After 2 years in Washington he moved to Latin America where he still resides. He understands the complex web of issues and contradictions throughout the region and has extensive experience in practically every country. Recently Joe was production manager and lead researcher for the Documentary “L’Autre Rio”, Associate producer, assistant director and story consultant for Pacified (Direction Paxton Winters, Executive Producer Darren Aranofsky) and Brazil Production Manager for the documentary “This is Climate Change”.

Dr. Anna Chacon is a board-certified dermatologist who has a passion for helping patients resolve their dermatologic conditions from the comfort of their home. She grew up in Miami, Florida, and has lived in many different regions such as Chicago; Los Angeles, California; Providence, Rhode Island; arctic Alaska; Cairo, Egypt; Haifa, Israel and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has a lifelong passion for being a doctor and physician, which was inspired by her own father Dr. Chacon, a pioneer in critical care in South Florida and founder of the largest private intensive care unit in the area. After frequently attending work with her father at the hospital, rounding and watching him care for others during natural disasters and times of need with a great sense of compassion, she knew from a young age that becoming a doctor was her calling and what she was born to do. Dr. Chacon is an independent solo dermatologist and private practitioner. She also collaborates with indigenous tribes such as Arctic Slope Native Association, Lake County tribal health consortium, Seminole Tribe of Florida as their first go-to dermatologist. She is the first and only dermatologist to work and serve the Alaskan Bush, referring to the region of the state that is not connected to any road networks and does not have ready access to waterways or the state’s ferry system, flying on bush planes to see patients in villages in the most remote and rural areas of the country. She practices in person in Florida, Alaska, and California, and also works as a teledermatologist, the only dermatologist with 52 medical licenses, including all 50 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She has started and led a non-profit organization called Indigenous Dermatology focusing on rural, remote and tribal health of the skin, hair and nails.
