I've been working in the media field for almost 10 years now, starting with photography and scriptwriting and becoming proficient in filming and editing. I was employed by an international TV channel in Israel and worked as an intern for STORY HOUSE Productions in Berlin. Now I continue to gain experience by working in the position of a video editor for New York-based Media Production, which sells documentary shows to Discovery Channel, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV. I also continue to help other media companies and directors in Israel with pre and post-production. I constantly create new ideas, come up with fresh solutions, and have a habit of writing down everything - no matter whether it’s a script, poem, media plan, or a brand new story. Now I am looking for a more constant workflow, being part of a greater team, for more sense and creative-oriented projects. Usually, I make documentaries and videos for advertisements, fashion, presentations, business campaigns, startups, although now I am becoming more interested in editing short and feature films. Since forever I have been finding my passion in journalism, history, psychology, and literature and always been investigating different streams of information in several languages. The visual side of storytelling is more than important for me because it gives a much bigger perspective and can evoke deep feelings. I am open to new ideas and of course, appreciate it if there is room for me to continue self-improvement and grow my experience.

I'm Amnon, born in 1981, raised in Jerusalem. Currently living in Jaffa with Mor my wife, Lia & Zohar my daughters and Yaski our dog. I Graduated with B.FA after five fascinating years in the Film & Television Department of Tel Aviv University. I'm learning new stuff everyday and trying to implement it in my work. Since 2006 i've been working as AC, Gaffer, 2nd Camera and DP in various fiction, documentary and experimental films, as well as TV series, shows, commercials and music videos. I directed documentaries, short films, music videos and promotional & documercial films. I always carry my camera on me, capturing magical moments, trying to say to the world what i wish through visuals. The fun part is to show the ugly as beautiful, the trivial as thrilling. Always in search after the right unique visual identity, discovering the photographic heart of a script, planting meaning behind the images. I believe Cinema is everywhere. We just need to observe. We are the Directors of our Photography.
