Reyan Tuvi is a journalist based in İstanbul, Turkey. Born in the Aegean city of Izmir, in 1967, Reyan Tuvi has studied English Language and Literature at Bosphorus University and received a scholarship for her master’s degree in Documentary Production at the Northern Media School in the UK. Returning back to Turkey, she has worked for various newspapers/ magazines (e.g. National Geographic, Turkey) as a reporter/ editor and traveled all around Anatolia, the Turkish heartland for ‘’Hürriyet Seyahat’’, the travel supplement of the best selling Turkish newspaper, Hürriyet. Since 1995, Tuvi has working as a producer- researcher for foreign media outlets (radio, tv, magazine) such as BBC, Finnish TV YLE, Danish TV2, Voice of America Paris Match and also worked as a script writer/ researcher in various documentaries filmed in Turkey and abroad (Africa, Central Asia, Australia) on travel and different cultures of the world. She also acted as an advisor for TRT (Turkish State Television) for their travel documentary series. Her interest in the social issues on her own country and the world led her in the way of becoming an independent documentary maker. Her documentaries still continue to be screened at many film festivals in Turkey and around the world. Reyan Tuvi has three guide books on Turkey and a book on the Roman people of Istanbul whose neighbourhood is destroyed by gentrification. She is still writing feature stories for newspapers and web journals such as T24 on human rights issues, discrimination and culture and is continuing shooting documentaries. Since 1989, Tuvi is a proffessional tourist guide and has a certificate of specialization on Istanbul. She can speak and write in English (advanced), French (intermediate) and Kurdish (beginner).

Zeki was born in Turkey, Izmit. He started his education in Cinema and Television in the Turkey and completed it in the UK. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Cinema and Television at the Canakkale 18 Mart University. Currently he continues his sociology education as a second major. He studied media studies at the popular Bahiya Television in Spain with the Leonardo project. He also took photography educations in London. During his career he was able to get into topics and areas which were never touched in turkish documentary. The Omo Valley tribal life, the Madagascar ded-turning ritual and the Pakistani iguana oil sellers are a couple of those extraordinary projects to mention. He won the MoonLife Award with the best certificate of the year. Zeki continously presents topics showing new perspectives to undiscovered and maybe even misunderstood cultures of the world. His work contributes to the communication and understanding among human beings on our planet. Zeki is not only firm in documentary (more than 86 countries till now), but also in commercials and promotinal films, as well as cinema film projects. His work is supported also by the Turkish Ministry of Culture.

I was born in Istanbul in July 1983. I graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, department of Media and Communication Systems with full scholarship in 2006. I did minor degree in Film and TV. My graduation documentary, An Apache in Istanbul, won the second place in the documentary category of the 28th Ifsak National Short Film and Documentary Competition. Also included in the 2007 Cannes Film Festival Turkey Catalogue. After graduation, I worked as an assistant director in Interfilm Istanbul and post-production manager in Soda Film. I did my military service in 2008 as a commando lieutenant, in Eğirdir then Kars, Sarıkamış. In 2009, produced and directed documentary series called "Hayat Var" for Skytürk TV. In 2011, produced and edited the "Yolda" travel program series of 27 episodes in 25 countries for Beiniz. In 2016, directed TV and internet commercials for brands such as Unilever, Ulker and Dagi. In 2017, started to work as a director of photography and in "Şarküteri Production. I also directed "Kurtuluş Rotası" and "Her dem Banyo" for Beiniz TV. During this period, produced and directed 6-episode cave exploration documentary series called "Yeraltından Notlar" with Anatolian Speleology Group. Yeraltından Notlar consist of 7 independent cave documentaries; Art of The Deep, Kadıini, Kayaağıl, Descent into Hades, Dağlı, Souvenir Of Çukurpınar and Morca. In 2018, directed docu-drama called "Savaşın Efsaneleri" for TRT Belgesel. In 2019, directed a special episode of "Ayrıcalıklı Rotalar" for HSBC with the host of travel guide Saffet Emre Tonguç. In the same year I also took part as a cinematographer and an editor in "Bakliyat Atlası" which is a production of Coşkun Aral. In the same year, my documentary "Art of the Deep" won the 3rd prize at the Speleo Film Festival held in Croatia. In 2021,I founded Kuzgun Production in Bodrum. Also produced and directed the documentary series "Hayat Var" for Habitat TV. Hayat Var consists of 5 independent documentaries: The Golden Girls of Etrim, Hours, Deus Ex Machina, Hello Teacher and The Sound of the Tree. In 2021, I took part as a cinematographer in the documentary "Royal Tour" Tanzania for PBS, Amazon Prime and AppleTV+ I produced contents for CGTN (Chinese Global Television Network). Also organized short film workshops at Artedemy Art Workshop in Bodrum. In 2022, I took part as a cinematographer in a documentary "Hidden Aegea" produced by Peter Greenberg for the American PBS. My documentary "The Golden Girls of Etrim", which I directed and produced, won the Merter Oral Special Award at the Afsad Film Festival. In 2023, Notes From Underground Documentary received the best short documentary award at the New York International Film Awards and Oniros Film Awards New York. Kadıini Documentary was entitled to be included in the official selection of the Firenze Archaeofilm Festival. Also I produced the Parchment documentary for Insider Business and promotional film of Fellow Enerji A.Ş. Hours documentary won the second prize at the Tayf International Film Festival. Sinan Kesgin is a journalist based in İstanbul, Turkey. Director of Photography Born in the Central Anatolian city of Ankara, in 1974, Sinan Kesgin has worked in various national and international media outlets and magazines, as a photographer and a videographer.
