(Mobile filmmaker, based in the U.S. but this platform requires a city so put Tampa as we are in and out of Florida often :) ) Koura Linda started writing out character development and script ideas and shot lists in her composition notebooks as a kid. Notorious for her elaborate crepe-paper birthday party decorations and painting murals on the walls of her bedroom, she was working as an art teacher's assistant as soon as she could legally hold a job. Fast forward about a decade, after stumbling in with Art Dept crew one summer, she quickly fell in love with production design and spent the next 10 years working on set and event design, eventually getting into full production design. Knowing that production design entails more than just the set, Koura studied acting and writing and camera and lighting, working as a day-player where she could, eventually taking a 3-day rigging intensive to become a certified set rigger and later working with electric, rigging lights on concert stages across LA. When she wasn't 50 feet in the air on a truss rig she'd helped build, she was studying design and make-up and wardrobe, eventually moving up to Art Director and then Production Designer then Event Producer for large private events, soon followed by Art Dept work in music videos, TV shows, and short films. With such a strong background and familiarity across so many departments with hands-on experience, it was a small jump over to Producing and Directing. Since the release of her first SAG short film in 2016, Koura has directed and produced just under 20 projects accepted to film festivals internationally, which have received over 60 award nominations and have won 22 awards. August 2019, Koura was awarded The Mico Award for Innovation, Courage, Excellence in Film in Las Vegas, for her career thus far as an Independent Filmmaker. In addition to work across various projects, including her podcast "Filmmaking (actually)", Koura is currently in development on her second feature film, the upcoming optimistic drama, "Comic Relief." Her first feature, "Catching the Light" filmed Sept 2020, is in post production and slated for release 2021.

Rory Thompson is a twenty-one-year-old Black filmmaker born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a double major in Digital Media Production and Media Studies with a minor in Film Studies. ​ Growing up with a passion for stories and storytelling, Rory quickly fell in love with video storytelling via film and television. At the age of 10, he started making home movies and stop motion videos. At the age of 17, he made his first short film, "Fourth of July". Since then, Rory has worked with various sports organizations, doing mostly video editing work, including the Jacksonville Sharks, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Jacksonville Giants, the St. Augustine Glory, and Flagler College Athletics. He has also independently produced music videos and worked on various short films. In the Spring of 2021, Rory started production on his first short film in almost four years with "Six Months Later", which was later released in July 2021. He is currently in production of his undergraduate thesis film, "The Butterfly and the Wasp", with a planned release of early 2022.
