CORTEX was a HD live switching console being marketed for Stage shows. PSAV asked me to build a sizzle demo of the unit with spec data and b-roll. I applied several After effect presets & complex layer comps to created the video. Informational Package about Summer heat and impact on children. Done for Weather Channel Summer 2016. Edited on Premiere Pro and After Effects One of my more adrenaline-based sizzle videos. This was done remotely at the 2008 Gamestop Annual Convention in Vegas. It was shot in Sony HDV, edited in Final Cut, along with 3D After effects custom comps, and some other photoshop produced elements. It was a HUGE success and edited in record time. I produced this video for the Flagler College Athletic Department. The purpose was to thank sponsors and supporters of Flagler College athletes and explore ways in which the athletes contribute to the community in St. Augustine, Florida. For this story, I interviewed the owner of a horse carriage company, a veterinarian and a city official in Savannah, Georgia, after the city took measures to protect horses that work in the summer heat. The Weather Channel URL is no longer active, so I use a YouTube link. For this story, I interviewed residents of St. George, Georgia. Authorities had ordered residents to evacuate as a wildfire continued to spread in the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge near the Florida-Georgia border. Many townspeople refused to leave, saying they wanted to stay behind to try to save homes and businesses. The Weather Channel URL is no longer active, so I use a YouTube link. On July 20, 2017, shortly after midnight, Keegan Von Roberts, a young black man, was shot and killed in front of his house by his white neighbor, Michael Centanni. Centanni was never charged, protected under the self-defense argument. The case is complicated and controversial – here’s a deeper look. When Shahla Latifi was an 18-year-old pharmacy student living in Kabul, Afghanistan, it was arranged that she would marry a 50-year-old Afghan man living in Jacksonville, Florida. She was excited to leave a violent Afghanistan for a man who seemed kind and promised her she could finish her degree in the United States. Instead, Shahla was locked into a 22 years of mental, emotional, physical and se When Rostand Ndong Essomba’s sister passed away unexpectedly, he was 14 years old. Little did he know that turning his focus to basketball would lead him on a wild journey from his home country of Cameroon to Stockbridge, Georgia, when he was 17. Once in Georgia, a nightmare became reality for Essomba and numerous other international athletes. Creative Short film
