SHEMEI AGABO is a creative and innovative multimedia storyteller. Over the course of 7 years as a content creator, he has honed his skills in documentary film, audio production, and digital journalism, working with production companies and non-governmental organizations. His impactful documentaries are known for their novel and creative approach to storytelling. I am a multi-media journalist and lawyer with vast experience in the Great-Lakes region adept at delivering well-packaged stories, investigations and special reports for an African and global audience. Thomas Lewton is a British video journalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker currently based in East Africa. His films have featured on BBC Travel, the Thomson Reuters Foundation and VICE. He also produces content for NGOs and has worked with Friends of the Earth and Amnesty International. Before freelancing, Thomas worked as an Assistant Producer in broadcast TV for four years on factual documentaries for Channel 4, the BBC and Discovery Networks. Thomas produces under Fuzzy Head Films with multimedia journalist Alice McCool. Their documentary short - Malawi Gold - premiered in February 2017 at the Bertha DocHouse Cinema, and was nominated for Best Short Documentary at London Independent Film Festival. Solomon Serwanjja is the Executive Director of the African Institute for Investigative Journalism, (AIIJ) a home of investigative journalism. The organisation focuses on growing investigative journalism through training and capacity building, collaborative investigative reporting, grant making and research.
