Passionate film producer with 10+ of experience in the film industry. Motivated by a strong creative vision, has worked on several successfully released feature films as well as digital brand videos and music videos, guiding them from conception to completion and release. Roshni has adorned many hats from being a Feature film Director to micro-managing the nitty-gritty of theatrical distribution and effortlessly switches between creative thinker with a global aesthetic to tactical problem-solver bringing solutions to essentially budgetary issues. Roshni's directorial debut feature Ghost of the Golden Groves was officially selected at numerous international film festivals such as the Festival du Nouvaeu Cinema Montreal (Canada), Cinequest (USA) and the London Indian Film Festival. It was nominated for the prestigious FIPRESCI Award and won a Jury Award at the Chicago Underground Film Festival. It was also one of those rare Indian films to be featured in BFI's Sight & Sound Magazine.

I am a trained director & self-taught cameraman & editor, with more than two decades of experience in documentaries as well as fiction and a Masters degree in film-making from the prestigious Northern Film School in UK. I specialize in bespoke documentary films. My hour-long documentary "India's Frontier Railways - Maitree Express" not only earned a spectacular viewership on BBC but also got excellent reviews for its sensitive portrayal of the people of India and Bangladesh. I worked for channels like BBC, Channel 4, National Geographic, Channel News Asia etc., before taking up teaching film & television in under-grad and post-grad courses in Kolkata. My short film 'Tell My Story' was one of the four films selected to represent the UK at the 39th Student Oscars and won the prestigious Royal Television Society nomination in the UK.
