I'm an Oscar-nominated and two-time Emmy-winning filmmaker and photographer based on the East Coast, USA. I'm the DP and producer of Academy-Award nominated film and Netflix Original "Heroin(e)" and the Netflix Original Documentary "Recovery Boys." As a journalist, I've directed and published short films on The NY Times, The Bitter Southerner, Center for Investigative Reporting, and Mashable, among others. As a commercial director and DP, I've shot films for Marriott, Renaissance Hotels, Facebook, and more. For both documentary and commercial work, I fully produce, direct, shoot, and edit my own films. I also get hired as a DP/shooter and director. I'm also an FAA certified drone pilot with more than six years of experience. For documentary work, I often use a Canon C300III, Panasonic S1H, DJI Mavic 2 Pro, gimbals, glidetracks, and have a large selection of high-quality prime and zoom lenses. As a 2008, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2019 Emmy Award Winner, a 17 time nominated Director, Cinematographer, and Post-Production Editor, De'Niel Phipps has made his mark in the film and television industry for the past 20 years. He was first introduced to the business at age 13, helping produce his church's weekly television program. Having this opportunity while young charted the path that allowed him to follow his dreams. Professionally, his rewarding film production credits include commercials for McDonalds, Nationwide Insurance, and Goodyear Tire, and such feature films as the Lions Gate production of "One For The Money," Paramount Pictures film, "Fun Size," and the independent film, "Tomorrow Your Gone," and "Bet On A Bad Horse." He has also helped produce television programming for MTV's reality show, "MADE," ESPN, NBC Universal, and a host of other media outlets. Adding to his credits is the short films, "Fin Del Ano,"which premiered at 168 International Film Festival, and Sundance. Sam Mirpoorian is an award-winning filmmaker exploring societal themes at the intersection of time, isolation, health, science, + introspection. During his undergrad + grad studies at Indiana University, he made his first doc-short, Little Warriors, which tells the story about youth activism in the space of climate policy. The film was a Grand Prize Winner at the Academy Award-Qualifying, Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis. In 2018, Sam edited + produced a doc-short, Destination Park, which examines a mobile chapel located in the heart of a desolate truck stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York + made its online premiere via The Atlantic in 2019. In 2020, Sam’s second doc-short, Sonnie, which follows the serene + poignant life of a single father raising his son, played + won awards from over 40 film festivals across the United States + is a recipient of the Kodak Motion Picture Film Bronze Award for Excellence in Filmmaking. Sonnie won three Regional Emmy® Awards and was acquired by NBC, making its broadcast premiere via Peacock in 2021. In addition to his film work, Sam has directed, shot, edited, + produced national + regional commercial/branded content campaigns for philanthropic + environmental foundations including brands such as Pharrell Williams’ IceCream, Robert Redford’s The Redford Center, the YMCA, NASCAR, Goodwill, Louisville Slugger, High & Mighty, + others.

Hello, My name is Jacob Robinson, I am a Sony FX6 Owner/Operator based out of Lexington KY. While I am based out of Lexington, I am happy to work as a local anywhere in the Tri State Area. My background is split between being a Camera Operator on shows like Mountain Men on History Channel, Louisiana Law on Animal Planet and American Gold on Fox nation, and AC work for Reality Tv shows such as In With The Old for Magnolia, Mountain Men for History, Duck Family Treasure for Fox and Beach Hunters for HGTV. I am a owner/operator of a FX6 Kit, with a moderately sized G/E package, including multiple battery powered Panels, and COB LED lights. On these smaller crews I end up running sound as well. I'm a cinematographer, doc filmmaker and founder of Hard Road Pictures, a small production company with a documentary focus. We produce independent documentaries and mini-docs for media outlets, non-profits, and commercial clients. Our recent projects include the production of a TIME 100 video featuring a New Orleans-based educator reflecting on education in New Orleans ten years after Katrina, and the documentary "Invisible Curriculum" which explores the global youth employment crisis.
