I'm a curious person. I studied Science of Educations, Visual Anthropology and last year I attend 1 year at the Danish School of Media and Journalism. I prefer social stories. One of my multimedia, "Mother of Hope" was short list at the Manuel Rivera Ortiz Foundation grant in Short Short Documentary this year. The same documentary was screening at DOCField Barcelona 2014. I speak Italian, Spanish, English, and also I speak French and I can understand Catalan and a little of Portuguese. I lived in Barcelona for 5 years, in Madrid for 6 month, in Denmark for 1 year, in Argentina for 4 moths. I've no problem to move and live in another place. I'm open mind and I'm easily able to adapt to different situations. I can work as photographer and as video storyteller. With my photos I won some international prizes. I am a documentary filmmaker currently based in Brooklyn, New York. I have been a freelance filmmaker here for the last 9 years, though last year I lived in Uganda and have spent significant amount of time abroad in other places as well. My education and background is primarily in documentary filmmaking, but I worked in all phases of production on content for HBO, PBS, Comedy Central,&Sundance Channel. I direct, shoot, record sound, and edit, and have my own equipment. I love seeing new places, talking to strangers,and finding small stories that represent much bigger ideas. After leaving the military, he dedicated himself full time to photojournalism working in the Middle East, Afghanistan, the United States, and Latin America. He has documented the effects of gentrification in Washington D.C., unrest in Yemen, the Libyan rebels' push from the Nafusa Mountains toward Tripoli during the Arab Spring, and Afghan mountain guides working amidst conflict high in the Hindu Kush. His photographs have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and in The Times of London. Jonathan is a trained EMT with a master's degree in international affairs from Columbia University and has extensive experience working in some of the world's most hostile environments. Filmmaker, photographer, traveller and anthropologist. With the help of a camera, he documents people's lives and their stories, which are defined by various cultural patterns and customs. As a multimedia engineer, he acquired his knowledge at the Multimedia Academy and Institute in Ljubljana. He continued with his studies at the Middlesex University in London, where he graduated in 2009. An enormous interest for the factors that shape different civilizations and lives of individuals, and the complex aspects of human interactions, led him to apply for the international studies of cultural diversity and transnational processes at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and at the Universidad Autónoma in Barcelona, where he graduated with honours in 2015, and obtained the tittle European Joint Master of Social and Cultural Visual Anthropology. In his visually rich documentary opus, Miha Mohorič reveals the themes with anthropological and ethnographic characteristics. In his movies, he focuses particularly on overlooked social and cultural themes. He is and exceptional observer, who records the unspoken and the unheard with the sensible eye of a camera, and with it integrates the artistic aesthetic into the documentary film. Currently he is active in the production of the movie about the victims of war in Turkey, Iraq and Syria and is the co-funder of Kranjska Gora International Film Festival.

She worked on international productions in the UK, Netherlands and Slovenia. She currently works with Vertigo, Ljubljana, Slovenian production company known for over 40 awarded films since its creation in 1994. The 2017 produced film titled My Last Year as A Looser (2018) won the best film award for the 2018 Festival of Slovenian Film, and many other awards. Currently, Vertigo, as the majority coproducer has two films in the distribution and two in the pre-production and is also collaborating on several films in distribution and pre-production as a minority coproducer. Since Zala started working with Vertigo, she worked on the production of three features and one literary documentary series and is attached to a project since its early development stage.
